Atletico test Barca's defence again.

This time a ball from the right is lofted into the area and finds defender Diego Godin who can only nod the ball over the bar.

The delivery didn't have any power on it, so it was a tough ask for Godin to test the Barca keeper.

A yellow for Sergio Busquets - no stranger to a card - for taking out Antoine Griezmann who was looking to set Kevin Gameiro free.

Easy decision.

Yannick Carrasco feeds Antoine Griezmann on the left side of the area. The Frenchman's low drive is saved at the near post by Barca keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen. Simple stop.

Moments later Gabi has a pop from 20 yards, but it is tame and easily saved by the German.

That was rotten pal!

Great Barca inter-play sees Lionel Messi play in Luis Suarez on the left of the area.

Needing only to clip his shot past the on-rushing Jan Oblak, the ex-Liverpool man slices his effort a few feet wide of the keeper's far post.

Inexplicable really.

Will they win their first league title since 1999?

Feyenoord saw off one of their title rivals as goals from Jens Toornstra and Jan-Arie van der Heijden helped Giovanni van Bronkhorst's side beat PSV Eindhoven.

Goalline technology was needed to confirm that Der Heijden's 82nd minute effort had crossed the line after it appeared keeper Jeroen Zoet had kept the ball out.

Feyenoord have 60 points - five more than Ajax and eight more than PSV.

Intriguing.

Atletico began brightly and went close on a couple of occasions before Barca got back into the game.

Strangely, the closest we got to a goal was when Filipe Luis hit the post with a clearance.

Not a great save, but just very intelligent keeping.

The corner is played in from the right and finds the head of Barca defender Gerard Pique who sends the ball hurtling towards goal.

However, the ball finds keeper Jan Oblak, who is well positioned to grab the ball. He falls to ground as if he is going through some sort of training ground routine.

Atletico break.

Filipe Luis is played down the left by Yannick Carrasco, all the ex-Chelsea defender has to do is play the ball square for the fast-arriving Kevin Gameiro.

But out comes Barca keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen to grab the ball in front of the Frenchman.

At the other end, Luis Suarez cuts in from the left and launches a firecracker of a shot that rockets over Jan Oblak's bar.

He, perhaps, should have done better.

Anyway, it's not a free-kick to Barca - about 20 yards out and left of central.

You know how people say "if that was Lionel Messi..." when somebody inferior scores a great goal, well in this case it's "if that was League Two...".

So Neymar pokes the ball into the path of Lionel Messi in the area. His low shot is saved low by Jan Oblak.

An almighty scrmable ensues as Barca try to score and Atletico try to clear.

Eventually. Atletico defender Filipe Luis inadvertently kicks the ball against his own post and Luis Suarez heads in. But the ref blows, seemingly for an earlier Suarez handball.

What a beautiful 25-yard rising strike from Antoine Griezmann, but Marc-Andre ter Stegen prevents it from bursting the net by leaping up and sticking out his big hand.

In all fairness, it was 'one for the cameras'. I would have saved it, I reckon. 

What is Sergio Busquets doing? He is almost caught by Kevin Gameiro as he looked to 'play the Barca way' out of defence.

Not a good idea Sergio - not at this moment in time. Ask Manchester City's John Stones.

Today, he appears to be playing a deeper role on the left.

Barca's celebrated attacking trio have been kept quiet so far, unlike the defence.

That chance came moments after Gabi volleyed straight at the German keeper.

Ref Antonio Miguel Mateu Lahoz will be blowing that whistle of his rather frequently this Spanish afternoon.

A first strike in anger from Lionel Messi.

Luis Suarez appears to be pulled back by defender Stefan Savic but he stays on his feet and plays the ball to Lionel Messi. The little Argentine shrugs off a challenge and fires a fierce effort over the bar from 18 yards.

It's going to be a heck of a battle between Barca's front three and Atletico's defence.
