    Julen Etxabeguren, own goal

  5. Composure requiredpublished at 20:14 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2017

    Dundee 0-0 Partick Thistle

    Richard Wilson
    BBC Scotland at Dens Park

It's been fairly scrappy so far, with both sides yet to settle on the rhythm and range of their passing. The most likely figure to create something has so far been Partick Thistle's Chris Erskine, whose touch and drive on the ball has been impressive. Dundee are still looking for somebody to take command of their play.

  6. CLOSE!published at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2017

    Hearts 0-0 Ross County

County centre-back Jay McEveley comes closest to breaking the deadlock, as he volleys narrowly wide from a free kick.

  7. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2017

    St Mirren 0-0 Hibernian

The hosts continue to look lively. Brilliant left-wing play by St Mirren's Lewis Morgan results in a perfect cross for Kyle Magennis to volley left-footed, but it cracks off the crossbar.

  8. Postpublished at 20:11 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2017

    Dundee 0-0 Partick Thistle

Chris Erskine's driving run at the Dundee defence frees up space for Kris Doolan to his left.

The striker is played in but is always stretching as he fires over.

  9. goal

GOAL Rangers 1-0 St Johnstonepublished at 20:10 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2017

    Barrie McKay

Rangers winger Barrie McKay latches on to a loose ball at the edge of the St Johnstone box and slots in his fourth goal of the season, and his second against Saints.

Within moments, Blair Alston fires just wide as the visitors try to get level.

  10. Tentative start from Ambrosepublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2017

    St Mirren 0-0 Hibernian

    Kenny Crawford
BBC Sport Scotland at the Paisley 2021 Stadium

St Mirren are on top in the opening 20 minutes, with Hibs debutant Efe Ambrose looking a touch off the pace.

The Nigerian was beaten by Kyle Magennis's skill on the right-hand side and the young Buddies forward is giving Neil Lennon's side a lot to think about.

Magennis almost opened the scoring with a low effort from the edge of the box that Ofir Marciano tipped wide.

  11. Celtic take a left turnpublished at 20:04 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2017

    Inverness CT 0-0 Celtic

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Radio Scotland

"Everything has come down the left-hand side for Celtic so far.  I would like to see Gary Mackay-Steven demanding the ball a bit more.  He is almost playing like an inside forward on the right but he needs to hug the touchline."

Left-back Kieran Tierney proceeds to send in three probing crosses in quick succession, but Caley Thistle repel each one.

  12. CLOSE!published at 20:03 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2017

    Hearts 0-0 Ross County

First chance for the hosts, as right-back Andraz Struna drills in a low effort from some 30 yards. It bobbles into the arms of Scott Fox.

  13. Postpublished at 20:03 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2017

    Dundee 0-0 Partick Thistle

Both teams have been on song of late but not much to report from the opening quarter-hour at Dens Park other than a lot of misplaced passes.

  14. Postpublished at 20:01 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2017

    Hearts 0-0 Ross County

Ross County are very much in the ascendancy at Tynecastle, playing some neat attacking football and pinning the hosts back. From a poor clearance, Marcus Fraser strides forward and rasps a shot wide from 25 yards.

  15. CLOSE!published at 20:00 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2017

    Rangers 0-0 St Johnstone

Rangers midfielder Jon Toral almost makes amends for his earlier slack play as he heads James Tavernier's free-kick narrowly wide.

  16. Postpublished at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2017

    St Mirren 0-0 Hibernian

Good play by Cammy Smith again, who receives an incisive pass from Gary Irvine and skins Marvin Bartley before shooting low straight at Hibs keeper Ofir Marciano.

Steven Mallan then goes close with a curling shot. A good start from the Buddies.

  17. Postpublished at 19:57 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2017

    Hearts 0-0 Ross County

The first opening of the match arrives, and it comes for the visitors. A vicious swerving cross from the left flies narrowly over the head of Liam Boyce, as the County striker hares deep into the Hearts box.

  18. CLOSE!published at 19:57 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2017

    Rangers 0-0 St Johnstone

Steven MacLean almost capitalises on a poor pass by Rangers' Jon Toral, the Saints striker firing wide.

  19. Postpublished at 19:56 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2017

    St Mirren 0-0 Hibernian

Hibs midfielder Fraser Fyvie rolls the ball into the St Mirren net but he is well offside and there's no dispute from the visitors.

At the other end, Cammy Smith threatens with a back post header which is deflected wide.

  20. Postpublished at 19:55 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2017

    Inverness CT 0-0 Celtic

Moussa Dembele, 29 goals to his name so far this season, is released down the right, but his low shot is comfortably saved by Inverness keeper Owain Fon Williams.

"It was a very tight angle to try to beat the keeper from there, but it shows the confidence running through Dembele's veins," says Radio Scotland summariser Pat Bonner.
