    Stoke City 3-1 Hull City

Easy for Stoke in the end. They fully deserved these three points and Xherdan Shaqiri's goal was worthy of sealing the points in any game.

Hull remain two points above the relegation zone thanks to results elsewhere.

Xherdan Shaqiri comes off to a huge ovation. He's been brilliant today.

    Mame Biram Diouf is on.

I think that's called adding injury to insult.

Andrea Ranocchia gets a leg in the mush from Jon Walters as the two tangled for possession on the ground.

No intent from the Stoke man, who looks abashed as soon as it happens.

Ranocchia is patched up and back on.

Crystal Palace are the biggest winners in the survival race as it stands. The three most important words in football.

The Eagles are the only side in the bottom seven earning a point. And they want more against Leicester...

    Stoke City 3-1 Hull City

Xherdan Shaqiri loves playing against Hull.

He's not scored since his brace against them earlier in the season and he's just ended that drought in emphatic fashion.

A full 30 yards from goal the diminutive Swiss takes aim and hammers the ball past Jakupovic.

Surely that's three points for Stoke.

    Stoke City 2-1 Hull City

So nearly an equaliser for Hull.

Grosicki did well to cut in and fire a low shot that Grant parried before the Stoke defence scrambled clear with Niasse sniffing around for the rebound.

Frustration gets the better of Markovic after a tussle with Pieters and he's the second Hull name in the book.

Mark Hughes has a few good options up front at Stoke. Peter Crouch has been brought on an Jon Walters gets his head up and sees his fellow frontman's movement. The ball is dinked in and... well, visualise the perfect Peter Crouch goal and that is it!

    Stoke City 2-1 Hull City

Stoke's two substitutes had already fired a warning shot across Hull's bows and this time they combine to give the home side the lead.

Jon Walters picks the ball up on the left delivers a perfect cross for Peer Crouch to rise above his marker and guide a header past Jakupovic.

A textbook goal for the giant striker and Stoke lead again.

  13. CLOSE!published at 62 mins

    Stoke City 1-1 Hull City

What a chance for Hull to take the lead!

Erik Pieters' weak clearance fell to Niasse 30 yards from goal but, with Lee Grant out of position, the Hull striker could only blaze high and wide.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 60 mins

    Stoke City 1-1 Hull City

Almost an immediate impact from Stoke's substitutes.

Jon Walters guides a firm header towards goal but Eldin Jakupovic is there with a strong hand to make an excellent save.

The rebound comes to Peter Crouch but he can't get his effort on target.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 58 mins

    Double change for Stoke.

Saido Berahino and Charlie Adam are given the hook.

    On come Peter Crouch

and former Hull man Jon Walters.

There's a few boos around the ground - the home fans seemingly unhappy with Berahino's withdrawal.

Well it wasn't pretty but it was effective.

Clucas' cross into the area was not dealt with by the home defence and the ball eventually broke to Harry Maguire, who fired an untidy effort into the turf and past Lee Grant via a deflection off Ryan Shawcross.

In Hull's position you'll take them however they come, and that was as untidy as it gets.
