Romelu Lukaku finally gets his feet on the ball in the box, he runs at James Collins but the ball gets away from him.

Jonathan Calleri squares to Edimilson Fernandes but the Swiss midfielder blasts over. 

Ademola Lookman shows some quick feet in the West Ham box, Ross Barkley has the ball but he can't make anything happen.

André Ayew plays in Edimilson Fernandes but he tries to do too much in the box and wastes the chance, the ball comes back to Manuel Lanzini but his shot is blocked.

I was looking forward to this game. The sun is out, I'm at the Olympic Stadium, Everton have a side full of exciting talent including the league's top scorer in Romelu Lukaku. 

But what have I seen? Absolutely nothing. An awful game. 

Oh look, Lukaku's touched the ball! Deary me...

Apparently Pixie Lott is about to perform, suspect it will be miles more entertaining than what I have just witnessed in that first-half. 

And so ends a terrible half of football.
