There's still a chance PSG can end the season with a domestic triple. They trail leaders Monaco by three points in Ligue 1 while the capital club are in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France - the country's most prestigious cup competition.

As for Monaco, they can still secure a European and domestic treble despite this defeat.

PSG are the French League Cup winners for a seventh time - and for the fourth successive season. It's a first major trophy for Unai Emery since taking over last summer.

Two assists and a goal for Angel Di Maria while Edinson Cavani's finishing has been of the highest quality. And let's not forget Marco Verratti's exquisite passing.

Five minutes of additional time. PSG's fans have not had a lot to shout about this season but they've started the party in Lyon.

This hasn't been a good night for Monaco but they have so much going for them. There's another three more competitions left for Leonardo Jardim's side to deliver a trophy.

Thiago Motta will not finish this. PSG find time to squeeze another substitution and it's Brazilian winger Lucas Moura who is coming on for the final moments.

Remember PSG capitulating in the final minutes at Barcelona to go out of the Champions League? No sign of that happening against Monaco. A fourth successive League Cup is in touching distance.

Chances at both ends. Teenage forward Irvin Cardona ripples the side- netting as Monaco go close to pulling a goal back before Angel Di Maria uses the outside of his left boot to force a fine save from Danijel Subasic.

Marco Verratti has been excellent for PSG but the Italian midfielder's night is over. Blaise Matuidi is on for the final 10 minutes. 

Unai Emery is minutes away from winning his first trophy in charge of PSG. The Spaniard takes a moment to dish out orders to Angel Di Maria as Thiago Silva receives treatment on the pitch.

No surprise that there are lots of tired legs after the frantic pace of the first half. Lots of gaps appearing in Monaco's defence while PSG, who are keeping the ball well, continue to probe.

PSG keeper Kevin Trapp is booked for time wasting. The capital club are running down the clock.

Time is running out for Monaco - and their dreams of the quadruple. They've added a sense of urgency to their play but PSG look well in control. 

Not since November 2012 have PSG lost a game in this competition. I've got a feeling they are going to extend their unbeaten run. That's some achievement.

Both teams have made changes. Julian Draxler has limped off to be replaced by Javier Pastore whole Monaco have sent on Nabil Dirar for Valere Germain.

PSG are really turning on the style. Layvin Kurzawa pumps another low cross into the Monaco penalty area but he gets his timing all wrong and Edinson Cavani arrives too late to inflict any further damage.

How did that stay out? Angel Di Maria fizzes the ball into the path of Cavani who must score six-yards out. What. On. Earth. He's missed it.
