  1. CLOSE!published at 21:09 British Summer Time 17 May 2017

    Monaco 1-0 St Etienne

Almost a fluke second for Monaco as Thomas Lemar miscues a cross from the left and very nearly sends it into the top corner! It's into the side-netting and one of those where it ripples the goal, confusing half the crowd.

    Celta Vigo 0-2 Real Madrid

That goal will not have gone down well in Barcelona. Real Madrid are one point away from the title. As it stands...

GOAL - Celta Vigo 0-2 Real Madridpublished at 21:05 British Summer Time 17 May 2017

    Cristiano Ronaldo (48 mins)

If you have a problem - and if you can find him - maybe you can hire: Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Real Madrid man is more clinical than a guerrilla gang of former US Army commandos.

The visitors turn defence into attack in a blink of an eye, Ronaldo racing clear of the Celta backline to drill in off the left-hand post.

  4. KICK-OFFpublished at 21:05 British Summer Time 17 May 2017

    Monaco 1-0 St Etienne

Back under way in France where Monaco need a draw to be champions. C'est bon.

  5. KICK-OFFpublished at 21:03 British Summer Time 17 May 2017

    Celta Vigo 0-1 Real Madrid

The theme tune of 80s classic The A Team blasts out of the Celta speakers. What a tune. What a programme.

Madrid don't have BA Baracus or Hannibal, but they do have Cristiano Ronaldo.

He gets the game back under way.

So as it stands Juventus have one hand on the Coppa Italia, Monaco are as good as champions in France and Real Madrid will need a point on the final day of the season to wrap up La Liga.

  8. ouch!

Postpublished at 20:52 British Summer Time 17 May 2017

    Juventus 2-0 Lazio

Ouch indeed! Mario Mandzukic is down and bleeding heavily after a clash of heads. A real nasty cut, but good to see that Gigi Buffon on the sidelines is able to have a good laugh about it. He's off for some treatment.

    Monaco 1-0 St Etienne

    Almost there Monaco...

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:46 British Summer Time 17 May 2017

    Celta Vigo 0-1 Real Madrid

No messing about from the ref. Maybe he needs the loo. He blows up after one second of stoppage time.

Madrid lead after Cristiano Ronaldo's precise finish, meaning they are one and half wins from guaranteeing the Liga title.

  12. Postpublished at 20:45 British Summer Time 17 May 2017

    Monaco 1-0 St Etienne

St Etienne do get in behind enemy lines for the first time but it's easily dealt with by Danijel Subasic. Despite the fact that Monaco are on course to win the league there's still plenty of empty seats. And close again! Great ball in by Bernardo Silva, Radamel Falcao just can't get there.

  13. Postpublished at 20:45 British Summer Time 17 May 2017

    Celta Vigo 0-1 Real Madrid

The clock is ticking towards stoppage time. Celta look the likeliest to be the next scorers. Can they make a breakthrough before the break?

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:41 British Summer Time 17 May 2017

    Celta Vigo 0-1 Real Madrid

Iago Aspas was furious that the ref didn't give a penalty. So furious that he almost went green and turned into Incredible Hulk.

    Instead he saw yellow.

  15. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 20:40 British Summer Time 17 May 2017

    Celta Vigo 0-1 Real Madrid

Iago Aspas has suddenly become the main protoganist in this tale. The Celta forward tries to make a fool of Raphael Varane on the bye-line, and the Madrid defender appears to handle when Aspas attempts to knock the ball past it.

It probably wasn't in the box, but it probably was handball. Or vice versa.

  16. CLOSE!published at 20:39 British Summer Time 17 May 2017

    Juventus 2-0 Lazio

Ah great effort! Lazio come forward after a lengthy period of Juve pressure, the cross is whipped in from the right and Ciro Immobile meets it with a cracking flying header.

It's a great connection but always a few yards wide.

  17. Postpublished at 20:37 British Summer Time 17 May 2017

    Celta Vigo 0-1 Real Madrid

There is life in this Celta side yet.

Iago Aspas picks Sergio Ramos's pocket to close on the Madrid goal, only to lose his head and shoot wildly wide instead of looking up to see Daniel Wass in the middle.

Then ex-Liverpool forward Aspas has another pop. Side-netting. Then another. Curls just wide.

    Ten minutes until the break...

  18. Postpublished at 20:35 British Summer Time 17 May 2017

    Monaco 1-0 St Etienne

Kylian Mbappe is on another level altogether, he leaves some green-shirted defenders in his wake with another driving run down the left wing before teeing up Radamel Falcao in the middle. He swivels and shoots - blocked.

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:32 British Summer Time 17 May 2017

    Celta Vigo 0-1 Real Madrid

OK, we might have over-egged it with the 'Great Save' headline. But Daniel Wass's 20-yard free-kick did come at Keylor Navas at a fair pace.

The ball leaves the blond-haired Dane's right boot like a cannonball, Madrid keeper Navas staying central in his goal to punch out.

A couple of Celta players try to pounce on the rebound...they're offside.

  20. Postpublished at 20:30 British Summer Time 17 May 2017

    Celta Vigo 0-1 Real Madrid

Madrid midfielder Casemiro lunges in with a wild challenge on the edge of his box to earn the game's first booking.

More worryingly for the visitors, Celta have a free-kick in a dangerous position...
