Another Celtic player who may be on the move is Ryan Christie.

He took his tally to five goals in five games for Aberdeen with a double at Firhill today and Dons boss Derek McInnes is a big fan.

"I've really enjoyed working with him," McInnes told BBC Scotland. "But he's Celtic's player and we're grateful that Celtic have seen us as the right step for him

"Celtic have really accelerated their work this season and it's been difficult for the likes of Ryan to make that impression.

"He has a fantastic attitude and I think we could be a good step for him in his progression but that's up to Celtic really."

Patrick Roberts may be on his way back to Manchester City after a successful 18-month loan but will there be any other departures over the summer?

Kieran Tierney and Moussa Dembele will no doubt attract wealthy clubs in England but the prospect of another crack at the Champions League with Brendan Rodgers may be enough to persuade them to stay on.

Righto, let's catch up with all the new records that have been set by Celtic today.

  5. The last piece of the puzzle?published at 15:08 British Summer Time 21 May 2017

    FT: Celtic 2-0 Hearts

Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths on BBC Radio Scotland: "It’s crazy. I didn’t think anybody would’ve thought we’d have gone the season unbeaten, but it just shows the character and mentality we’ve got in that dressing room.

"It’s all down to the gaffer – he’s instilled that from day one, and we can see why he’s managed at the top in England.

"We’ve got one big push to go, and I think if we play to our capabilities and bring our A-game, the treble will be the last piece of the puzzle."

Departing Celtic midfielder Kris Commons talking to BBC Sportsound:

"I've just not been fit enough to play. I've had four back injections.

"The last six years here have been beyond my wildest dreams.

"In terms of great memories, it's easy to say our win here over Barcelona (in 2012). But scoring the goal that got us into the Champions League against Shakhter Karagandy (in 2013) is one of the most memorable moments.

"I've got three beautiful children who are all Celtic daft and I'll be staying in Glasgow.

"I've done my coaching badges but, if I'm able and fit enough, I'd like to keep on playing."

    FT: Celtic 2-0 Hearts

Was that Patrick Roberts' final game at Celtic Park? The Manchester City winger's loan deal expires at the end of the season, but he isn't giving much away...

"I don’t know; I’m not going to say anything about my future," Roberts told BBC Radio Scotland.

"I’m just going to enjoy today, enjoy being invincible, and once we've done that we’ll prepare for the (Scottish Cup) final.

"I can’t say much because I don’t know what’s going to happen. This is an unbelievable club, for me it’s up there with the greatest, and I just want to thank everyone here."

    FT: Celtic 2-0 Hearts

Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon talking to BBC Sportsound: "What a season, to go undefeated. It's something I'll cherish for a very long time.

"We have one more to go to make it a clean sweep for the season. We'll be focused for that but we'll enjoy tonight.

"We knew it would take a lot of hard work but we've done it. The coaching staff deserve great credit. Everyone has come together as a unit and we go again for the cup final."

Celtic meet Aberdeen next Saturday at Hampden. Will they keep their unbeaten domestic run going?

    FT: Celtic 2-0 Hearts

Celtic captain Scott Brown on BBC Radio Scotland: "The support today and all the way through the season has been fantastic.

"We showed our qualities yet again, and it’s a great achievement from everyone here. We’re going to go down in the history books, and rightly so.

"We’re a lot fitter this year, we’re sharper, we’ve brought in some quality players and we’ve got a great manager.

"The fans have come back for the manager, and we’ve got the performances on the park due to the manager.

"Our fitness levels have gone through the roof, we’re organised, we’re very, very sharp and we know what we’re doing in every single structure that we play."

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers talking to BBC Sportsound: "The group have worked so hard for all the records they have broken and they thoroughly deserve it. It's been a great season.

"You come in and plan to win. However, to perform like we've done is truly remarkable. The club is very much together as one.

"It's an incredible achievement. I am a Celtic supporter so I know what it feels like. The fans' enjoyment is the most important thing for me and I think they have a good feeling."

  12. Awesome Aberdeen thrash Thistlepublished at 14:42 British Summer Time 21 May 2017

    FT: Partick Thistle 0-6 Aberdeen

    Alasdair Lamont
    BBC Sport Scotland at Firhill

Aberdeen took their foot off the gas in the final half-hour, mercifully for Thistle. A humiliation for them today and a dispiriting way to end a fabulous season. The Dons will have to produce at least as good a performance again next week to lift the Scottish Cup and stop Celtic winning the Treble.

Veteran playmaker Commons made a brief on-loan cameo at Hibs and will be on the look-out for a new club over the summer.

Manager Brendan Rodgers singles the 33-year-old out as an "incredible servant" to the club during a brief address to the crowd.

He also says their unbeaten Premiership season - 34 wins, 4 draws, 0 defeats - "will probably be never be done again in our lifetime".

Andy Halliday, a substitute today, did not look quite so pleased as he applauded supporters and threw his jersey into the crowd. Should we be reading too much into that gesture?
