Another Celtic player who may be on the move is Ryan Christie.

He took his tally to five goals in five games for Aberdeen with a double at Firhill today and Dons boss Derek McInnes is a big fan.

"I've really enjoyed working with him," McInnes told BBC Scotland. "But he's Celtic's player and we're grateful that Celtic have seen us as the right step for him

"Celtic have really accelerated their work this season and it's been difficult for the likes of Ryan to make that impression.

"He has a fantastic attitude and I think we could be a good step for him in his progression but that's up to Celtic really."

Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths on BBC Radio Scotland: "It’s crazy. I didn’t think anybody would’ve thought we’d have gone the season unbeaten, but it just shows the character and mentality we’ve got in that dressing room.

"It’s all down to the gaffer – he’s instilled that from day one, and we can see why he’s managed at the top in England.

"I've just not been fit enough to play. I've had four back injections.

"The last six years here have been beyond my wildest dreams.

"In terms of great memories, it's easy to say our win here over Barcelona (in 2012). But scoring the goal that got us into the Champions League against Shakhter Karagandy (in 2013) is one of the most memorable moments.

"I've got three beautiful children who are all Celtic daft and I'll be staying in Glasgow.

"I've done my coaching badges but, if I'm able and fit enough, I'd like to keep on playing."

Was that Patrick Roberts' final game at Celtic Park? The Manchester City winger's loan deal expires at the end of the season, but he isn't giving much away...

"I don’t know; I’m not going to say anything about my future," Roberts told BBC Radio Scotland.

"I’m just going to enjoy today, enjoy being invincible, and once we've done that we’ll prepare for the (Scottish Cup) final.

"I can’t say much because I don’t know what’s going to happen. This is an unbelievable club, for me it’s up there with the greatest, and I just want to thank everyone here."

Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon talking to BBC Sportsound: "What a season, to go undefeated. It's something I'll cherish for a very long time.

"We have one more to go to make it a clean sweep for the season. We'll be focused for that but we'll enjoy tonight.

"We knew it would take a lot of hard work but we've done it. The coaching staff deserve great credit. Everyone has come together as a unit and we go again for the cup final."

"We showed our qualities yet again, and it’s a great achievement from everyone here. We’re going to go down in the history books, and rightly so.

"The fans have come back for the manager, and we’ve got the performances on the park due to the manager.

"Our fitness levels have gone through the roof, we’re organised, we’re very, very sharp and we know what we’re doing in every single structure that we play."

"You come in and plan to win. However, to perform like we've done is truly remarkable. The club is very much together as one.

Aberdeen took their foot off the gas in the final half-hour, mercifully for Thistle. A humiliation for them today and a dispiriting way to end a fabulous season. The Dons will have to produce at least as good a performance again next week to lift the Scottish Cup and stop Celtic winning the Treble.
