Five teams failed to score in their opening two Premier League games this season, including Crystal Palace and Swansea.

My Palace-supporting friend is describing this as a huge fixture ahead of what he expects to be another struggle to avoid relegation.

Paul Clement had just been appointed when Swansea won 2-1 at Selhurst Park in January. It meant the Swans completed the double over Palace, having won 5-4 in a thrilling encounter in November at the Liberty.

Given the two teams' respective scoring records so far, another nine-goal afternoon is probably not on the cards. A one-goal victory would be perfectly satisfactory for either side.

Crystal Palace boss Frank de Boer makes just the one change from the side that lost 1-0 to Liverpool at Anfield last Saturday.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek is out with a groin injury, so in comes James McArthur to the Palace midfield. Yohan Cabaye, injured for much of pre-season, is fit enough to make the bench.

Palace XI: Hennessey, Fosu-Mensah, Dann, Tomkins, Ward, Milivojevic, McArthur, Van Aanholt, Townsend, Puncheon, Benteke.

Subs: Speroni, Cabaye, Lee, Schlupp, Lokilo, Kelly, Anderson.

Swansea manager Paul Clement makes two changes from the team that lost 4-0 at home to Manchester United last weekend.

Sam Clucas, signed from Hull in midweek, makes his debut in midfield as another new face, Roque Mesa, drops to the bench. Defender Kyle Bartley is out with medial ligament damage sustained in the EFL Cup win at MK Dons, so in comes Mike van der Hoorn.

Swansea XI: Fabianski, Fernandez, van der Hoorn, Mawson, Naughton, Carroll, Fer, Olsson, Ayew, Clucas, Abraham.

Subs: Narsingh, Nordfeldt, Routledge, Rangel, Roque, Fulton, McBurnie.

    Afternoon all.

Dare we dream for a repeat of that 5-4 thriller at the Liberty last November?

Or are we all set for snoozefest?
