Cesar Azpilicueta is on his final warning after another foul. The referee makes it clear he will be showing a card next time the Chelsea man commits a foul.

Moments later Marcelo Brozovic takes out Alvaro Morata. This is getting tasty.

This is a not so friendly friendly. Lots of meaty challenges - mainly dished out by those wearing white. Cesar Azpilicueta and Cesc Fabregas are getting stuck in. There's around five minutes remaining in the first-half.

  4. Where next for Barkley?published at 13:11 British Summer Time 29 July 2017

    Everton

Will Ross Barkley start the season at Everton?

Toffees boss Ronald Koeman says Barkley is "looking for a new challenge" - and Tottenham are reportedly interested in signing the 23-year-old.

Barkley will have to add to his game if he is to reach his potential at a top-four club, says former Everton player Leon Osman.

"He is certainly going to get into top teams in the league," adds Osman. "But he's not got the all-round game yet that managers of these top four or six clubs want to see."

David Luiz has a close range header blocked before Willian lashes a shot over the Inter bar.

This has been pretty tedious so far.

Lots of good movement off the ball by Alvaro Morata who is already sporting a couple of bruises dished out by Inter's defence.

Half an hour gone - time for the first drinks break of the game.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says the club "will try" to sign a central defender this summer. Eliaquim Mangala is expected to depart, which would leave City with Vincent Kompany, John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi as established centre-backs.

City have spent about £200m this summer - £120m of that on three full-backs.

This month, England right-back Kyle Walker moved from Spurs for £45m, Brazil international Danilo joined from Real Madrid for £26.5m and France left-back Benjamin Mendy was recruited from Monaco for £52m.

They join Portugal midfielder Bernardo Silva (£43m) and Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson Moraes (£35m) in arriving at City this summer.

City have also been linked with moves for Arsenal's Chile forward Alexis Sanchez and another Monaco player, £160m-rated 18-year-old France striker Kylian Mbappe.

He's just given a thumbs-up sign to his manager. That can only be a good sign.

What a cracking pre-season Michy Batshuayi is having.

Three goals in two games and he already looks Chelsea's most threatening player in Singapore.

He threads a great ball to Willian on the edge of the box but the Brazilian gets himself in a tangle and a decent chance is gone.

The Swans have rejected a £40m offer from Everton for the Iceland midfielder, who they value at £50m, while Leicester have also had a bid turned down this summer.

Sigurdsson did not travel with Swansea for their tour of the United States. The 27-year-old has since returned to first-team training.
