  5. Sturridge sidelinedpublished at 19:30 British Summer Time 2 August 2017

Liverpool v Atletico Madrid (19:30 BST)

You've got to feel for Daniel Sturridge.

The England striker has been dogged by injury problems for the last three years but just last week manager Jurgen Klopp said the 27-year-old was in the "best condition" for the upcoming season.

But he lasted only 20 minutes on the field last night against Bayern.

Sturridge, on as a substitute, made a surging run and chipped over the keeper for Liverpool's third goal, but he immediately pulled up and was taken off with a thigh problem.

The club website has confirmed he's sidelined tonight but don't expect him to miss any more games.

In the first of their two scheduled Audi Cup games, Liverpool breezed to victory over Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena, winning 3-0 thanks to goals from Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Daniel Sturridge.

The victory booked a place in tonight's final against Atletico Madrid, who beat Napoli in their semi.
