I can think of a few words to describe this game but I'm not going to say!

Leicester are going to have to work hard to find a way through because when West Brom don't have possession they have 10 men behind the ball.

I'm surprised the Foxes are not trying to get the ball to Jamie Vardy more. He had some early joy against Ahmed Hegazi but there's been nothing for seven or eight minutes now.

One of the plot lines is clear after only a handful of minutes. Defenders usually mark strikers but after Ahmed Hegazi's early yellow card, Jamie Vardy is following him around. Another badly-timed challenge on Leicester's livewire and Hegazi will be off.

You can see West Brom's game plan. It's 4-5-1, they're deep and compact but they need to be a bit more ambitious. You can see Tony Pulis on the touchline and he's bag of nerves. He's got to let his players relax a bit and let them play.

A chance. The first real chance of the game and it goes West Brom's way. A rare attack sees Kieran Gibbs lift the ball to Nacer Chadli on the edge of the area but he scuffs his effort wide.

West Brom dominating possession. Bit surprised by that. They may have seen more of the ball but it is Leicester who have been more positive with it.

Leicester are playing the better football. It's not great but they're a bit more polished and they are passing the ball around well. West Brom have not started.

The wind has picked up at the King Power Stadium, that's not going to help lift the quality of the football on show.

Leicester are putting pressure on the West Brom defence, forcing them deeper and deeper but no real chances for either side yet.

First attack for West Brom as Kieran Gibbs floats a cross into the box. It's just beyond Salomon Rondon but is through to Jay Rodriguez, who is caught a little unaware by it and he can only chest the ball down and Leicester clear the danger.

Ahmed Hegazi has another nibble at Jamie Vardy and this time referee Mike Dean shows him the yellow card. More than 80 minutes on a booking, a nervy night ahead for the defender.

Leicester have another free-kick on the left side of the area and Riyad Mahrez sends it into the dangerzone. It's behind the defence but no Leicester player can connect with it.

Early stages but Jamie Vardy looks up for this one.

A quick turn sees him break away from Ahmed Hegazi and he charges off down the left flank. Hegazi does well to make up the ground but lunges in on Vardy. Free-kick Leicester but West Brom clear.

It was interesting to see Craig Shakespeare on the pitch before kick-off, crouching down to speak to his recalled Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez. No lip reader available here but one imagines the gist of the conversation "Riyad - could you possibly reproduce your title winning form of two years ago?"

Already you can see is it going to be a mistake or a set-piece because both teams are cancelling each other out.

I've seen plenty of people on Twitter suggesting this fixture could be a bit of a snoozefest. The below stat certainly doesn't help quash that suggestion and neither does the early action on the pitch. Scrappy start.

You feel for any manager who is under pressure but it's a results business. I expect Leicester to be in the top half of the table. Craig Shakespeare has got a good enough squad - he needs to get them firing.

The players are out on the pitch, Craig Shakespeare wanders over to the West Brom bench to shake hands with Baggies staff there.

Craig seems a nice chap, but the pressure will be mounting on him if the Foxes lose this one.
