This is a meeting of two clubs who've both shown their ruthlessness within the past 12 months.
Craig Shakespeare has now joined messrs Ranieri, Bradley and Guidolin on the chopping block, as Swansea and Leicester's owners have demonstrated that a run of disappointing performances will prompt the ultimate response from the boardroom.
With just three wins between them these sides have begun the campaign at the wrong end of the table, accentuating the significance of their meeting this weekend.
Only two teams have scored fewer goals than the Swans, only three have conceded more than the Foxes, so predicting the outcome of this most fascinating duel is almost impossible.

Paul Clement has handed Swansea midfielder Renato Sanches a start today but the boss thinks his confidence is "damaged."
The Portuguese international has struggled with form and minor injuries since joining the Swans on loan in August.
"He's a really good player," said Clement.
"It's about getting him up to speed. He's missed a lot of football and his confidence has been damaged.
"Fitness and the tactical side has dropped and we're picking all that up now."

This fixture has become synonymous with managerial change in recent years.
Two seasons ago, a Riyad Mahrez hat-trick gave Leicester a 3-0 win and consigned then Swansea boss Garry Monk to the sack.
Last term, it was a 2-0 Swans victory which proved to be Claudio Ranieri’s final game as Leicester manager.
This time, the Foxes play their first match since Ranieri’s successor, Craig Shakespeare, was shown the door. Let’s hope his temporary replacement Michael Appleton is not too superstitious.

Former Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare said giving Riyad Mahrez a "kick up the backside" paid off last week.
The Algerian scored his first goal of the season and rescued a point against West Brom but he hasn't looked the player he was back in 2016.
They need him to step things up as the Foxes have taken just three points from their past six matches since beating Brighton 2-0 on 19 August.

Swansea City head coach Paul Clement makes one change from last Saturday’s 2-0 win over Huddersfield, as midfielder Renato Sanches returns from injury to take the place of the suspended Leroy Fer.
Leicester’s caretaker manager Michael Appleton also makes one change from Monday’s 1-1 draw with West Brom, with striker Shinji Okazaki replacing Kelechi Iheanacho.
Swansea v Leicester (15:00 BST)
Leicester sacked manager Craig Shakespeare just four months after he signed a three-year deal to take the job on a permanent basis.
The Foxes are third from bottom in the Premier League and have not won any of their past six league matches.
Michael Appleton is in charge of the squad today, who were not told in advance of Shakespeare's sacking.
Can they find some form?

Swansea v Leicester (15:00 BST)
Swansea come into the game on the back of that strong 2-0 victory over Huddersfield they picked up last week.
Tammy Abraham was the man in the headlines after his six-minute brace ensured the Swans took all three points.
It was their first home win of the Premier League season and did lift some pressure off manager Paul Clement.
Leicester's Craig Shakespeare is gone...
And assistant manager Michael Appleton is in.
For today...
But has Swansea's Paul Clement come through the storm?
