Brighton manager Chris Hughton: "We played very well. We knew it was going to be a tough game and we fought very hard for it and I'm very pleased with what the boys produced.

"The thing with Glenn (Murray) is, he has a very good record of putting the ball in the net, which is what you need, but what I really like about him is his work ethic.

"He works hard on the training ground and then brings it to the pitch. But the boys all put a shift in today and I'm really pleased with the effort.

Swansea City

Swansea midfielder Luciano Narsingh: "It is difficult. We have to show the supporters we are working hard.

"We have to keep going and have faith in each other. We want to create chances and sometimes it is difficult.

"We only had two chances and that is not good enough. The players who stay at Swansea during the international break have to keep working.

"I have got a lot of confidence that we can climb up the pitch. We just have to show it. We have to speak with our feet."

Paul Clement: "I see a team low on confidence and I see a crowd frustrated but there is nobody more low and frustrated than me.

"The responsibility is down to me, the staff and the players. We will continue to work hard. We need to find a way to work even harder.

"We might have to win ugly in order to get some results. We will have to try to go to Burnley and grind out a result.

"Time isn't running out as there are lots of games that need to be played so it's not a crisis but we need to start winning games.

"In all my jobs there has always been difficult moments and I have enough experience to know you have to stay level-headed and not get too down."

Swansea City

Swansea manager Paul Clement speaking to BBC Sport: "If we perform at that level you can't expect to win a game. I haven't said too much to players after the game to be honest.

"It is best to reflect in a calm manner and give feedback in the next available opportunity. It is different to say what went wrong.

"When the goal went in we lost our shape and identity. We had two big chances in the second-half but they were blocked on the line."

"Swansea are never easy to win against. It's really good for our confidence that we have now won four games.

"Our team spirit is amazing, it is working well at the moment but we have to stay focused as there are a lot of games to go.

"I'm delighted to have assisted the goal to Glenn Murray but the important thing is to get the three points so I'm delighted with our performance."

Al Mamun Russell: Seems all newcomers to stay and last season's clubs to get relegated at the end of the season.

Josh Earl: All three of the promoted newly sides seven points clear of the relegation zone, as it stands. It's easy this Premier League malarkey.

Simon Hancock: Swansea sold their only attacking midfielder & brought in 3 holding players - Clucas, Mesa & Sanches. Asking for trouble.

Luciano Narsingh is through but he can't grab the winner!

Tammy Abraham puts it on a plate for him but he strikes it against the woodwork!

Oliver McBurnie desperately tries to become the hero for Swansea. He rises high to reach Luciano Narsingh's cross but his header is a tame one and it's straight into the hands of Mat Ryan.

Home supporters are leaving now...

Anthony Knockaert thinks he should have got a penalty when he tries to drive towards the Swansea goalline but Kyle Naughton is having none of it.

And neither am I. He was simply brushed off the ball. Good defending.

Wayne Routledge tries to muster something for Swansea. He attacks down the right but takes a heavy touch and the ball goes out for a goal-kick.

He turns away, swinging his arms in frustration.

A rare second-half attack from Brighton results in a corner. Anthony Knockaert's ball is dealt with by Lukasz Fabianski and the midfielder then slips in the box and gives away a free-kick.

Cue more Swansea crosses into the box now they are back in possession...
