    Burnley 2-0 Swansea

Tammy Abraham has not had a sniff in this match but eventually gets a look at goal. The England striker is slid in on the right side of the box but his shot is blocked by the sliding Ben Mee.

To add to Swans' frustration, Martin Atkinson points for a goal-kick rather than a corner.

  2. CLOSE!published at 51 mins

    Burnley 2-0 Swansea

    Classic route one stuff.

A huge goal kick from Nick Pope is not dealt with by the Swansea central defenders and the ball goes over their heads. Jeff Hendrick runs in behind and almost scores a third but his shot is blocked by the onrushing Lukasz Fabianski.

Burnley could have four or five in this game.

    Burnley 2-0 Swansea

A change in personnel but no change in the flow of the game. Burnley are straight on the front foot and win a corner.

Robbie Brady's delivery is poor but Swansea still manage to make a mess of clearing it at the first attempt before eventually scrambling clear.

Here come the players. Paul Clement needs to do something and he has decided to bring on Wilfried Bony for Jordan Ayew at the break.

Away we go in the second half.

Don't miss Match of the Day tonight. Burnley have scored two totally brilliant but completely different goals.

Here's the first one from Jack Cork. It was simple but the movement, cross and finish were excellent.

Don't let the possession stats fool you. This game has been all about Burnley.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Burnley 2-0 Swansea

Big block from James Tarkowski. Right on half-time, Swansea almost snatch a goal their performance wouldn't have deserved but the Burnley centre-back gets his body in the way of Martin Olsson's shot.

The referee blows his whistle for the break once the resulting corner is cleared.

    Corner, cleared.

Burnley are enjoying themselves now. Matt Lowton sprays a 50-yard crossfield ball right onto the chest of Johann Berg Gudmundsson.

    We'll have one added minute.

    Burnley 2-0 Swansea

Swansea are a right mess at the back. They have two, three, four attempts to clear a corner but don't take it. Eventually they can relieve the pressure as James Tarkowski pushes over Martin Olsson but here is another corner for the hosts...

Yep. A good point from Martin Keown. I suggested Burnley may miss their top scorer Chris Wood today but Ashley Barnes, preferred to Sam Vokes, is doing the business.

Barnes has hit a thunderbolt. And he's only playing because Chris Wood has been away playing for New Zealand against Peru!

    Ashley Barnes

    What a hit!

Burnley strike for a second time and if the first was a lovely team goal this is fantastic individual play.

Sam Clucas loses the ball for Swansea in midfield, Jeff Hendrick feeds Ashley Barnes 25 yards out on the left side. Barnes' first touch sets the ball up perfectly, bouncing just in front of him, and then he smashes the ball in off the left-hand post.

Burnley are a point behind fourth-placed Spurs as it stands. No wonder the fans at Turf Moor are in such good voice.

    Burnley 1-0 Swansea

I've just seen another replay of that Jack Cork goal for Swansea. It is such good football. Forget John Wark, this was more like Frank Lampard at his best.

A perfect way to end the week he made his first England appearance.

Jack Cork's late arrival in the box is reminiscent of John Wark or Bryan Robson. He started the move then broke his neck to get to where it mattered. And it was a great finish.

You don't know John Wark? Google him.

Or ask us. He looked like this:

All to do now for Swansea. Burnley have won their past two games 1-0. Only Man Utd and Liverpool have conceded fewer at home.

    Jack Cork

Don't let anyone ever tell you Sean Dyche's teams don't play good football. This is brilliant.

A move started and finished by Jack Cork, against the club he left this summer. The midfielder drives forward from the centre of the pitch, plays the ball into Ashley Barnes who then slides it out to Robbie Brady on the left wing.

Brady's first-time cross is inch perfect and Cork, who had continued his run, heads in unmarked. Brilliant.

Renato Sanches is now apologising to his team-mates for the second time in this game. With little on in front of him, the Portugal midfielder has a go from 30 yards but fires high and very wide.

Cue sarcastic whistles from the home fans.

    Burnley 0-0 Swansea

Swansea have had just two touches in the Burnley penalty area so far. They finally get out of their own half but Martin Olsson's cross is poor and Nick Pope can bend low to collect comfortably.

The home side have had by far the better for the first quarter of this game.

The noise levels are lifting at Turf Moor as Burnley push for an opening goal. A couple of moments ago Stephen Ward was the first man booked for a cynical foul as Swansea tried to counter.
