    West Brom 0-4 Chelsea

A very routine afternoon for Chelsea, who were a different class.

Will this be Tony Pulis' last game in charge of Albion?

Chelsea up to second, but will drop back to third if Manchester United beat Newcastle in the late game.

Chelsea have been very impressive today and Eden Hazard has been on top of his game.

West Brom have been well and truly beaten - it would have been different if they had gone down fighting and lost only 1-0. But the Baggies owners are there watching today, and are they going to give supporters what they want, which would be a new manager?

    West Brom 0-4 Chelsea

James McClean has just come on and instantly has West Brom's best chance of the game. He is one-on-one with Courtois, but shoots off target. Should have done better.

A final change for Antonio Conte, as N'Golo Kante comes off, with Willian coming on.

    West Brom 0-4 Chelsea

It has been a fairly routine afternoon for Thibaut Courtois and in a rare Albion attack in the second half Courtois can stand and watch as a Matt Phillips effort goes well over the top.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 70 mins

    West Brom 0-4 Chelsea

Nearly 5-0 as Alvaro Morata shoots over, before Antonio Conte opts to give Eden Hazard a break.

The Belgian has been absolutely magnificent today and he gets a rest ahead of a big week for Chelsea. Pedro comes on in his place for a 20-minute run-about.

I don't think Tony Pulis can survive this. Partly that's down to the brand of football - we are coming towards the end of his time at The Hawthorns.

This sort of poor West Brom performance is game after game. The Baggies need a shot of creativity right through the club. Are the players being asked to play football by the management?

This has been a long time coming, and this result and performance today is really going to test the resolve of the owner.

  10. 'The hatch on the trapdoor is opening...'published at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    West Brom 0-4 Chelsea

    Garth Crooks
Former Spurs striker on Final Score

Tony Pulis looks a resigned figure on the touchline.

At the moment he does not seem to be able to offer anything to his team. The Baggies have been roundly beaten today, while Chelsea have played with a freedom and panache.

Slaven Bilic cut such a forlorn figure towards the end of his time at West Ham, and that quickened his downfall. The same could be happening here to Pulis. The hatch on the trapdoor is opening.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    West Brom 0-4 Chelsea

    Time to rest some players.

Cesc Fabregas, who has been excellent and made two of of the four goals and produced the pass which Morata flicked on for Hazard's first goal, jogs off.

On comes Danny Drinkwater, who rejected a call-up for England last week for the friendlies against Germany and Brazil as he didn't feel he was fit enough.

  12. goal

GOAL - West Brom 0-4 Chelseapublished at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

    It is a thrashing.

It starts with a wonderful ball over the top of the West Brom defence from Cesc Fabregas, who is just inside his own half.

The ball finds Eden Hazard, who collects the pass, jinks back inside Ahmed Hegazi and curls a sublime finish into the far corner from the edge of the penalty area.

Lovely. Two for Hazard, four for Chelsea.

  13. The tough challenges keep on comingpublished at 59 mins

    West Brom 0-3 Chelsea

Things do not get any easy for West Brom and Tony Pulis as they play at Tottenham on Saturday, 25 November (15:00 GMT).

  14. Postpublished at 55 mins

    West Brom 0-3 Chelsea

Chelsea want more goals and Alvaro Morata nearly gets his second after nipping past Ahmed Hegazi and his strike hits the body of Ben Foster, who didn't seem to know much about it.

No signs of any West Brom comeback so far in this second half.

"You're getting sacked in the morning", is the taunt from the Chelsea fans aimed at Tony Pulis. Will they be right?

Cesc Fabregas was booked for diving moments ago and now West Brom's Salomon Rondon gets the same penalty after collapsing under a nothing challenge from Andreas Christensen.

  17. GOOD SAVE!published at 50 mins

    West Brom 0-3 Chelsea

Nearly a fourth for Chelsea as Eden Hazard's shot from a tight angle is blocked by the feet of Ben Foster. Cesc Fabregas come storming in, throws himself to the floor with Cluadio Yacob and Gareth McAuley close to him.

But there was no touch, referee Jon Moss is not taken in by the dive and books the Chelsea midfielder.
