Chelsea could not find a way past Everton on Saturday, and had to settle for a point. I am backing them to create a lot more chances against Brighton and, with Alvaro Morata back from suspension, they will have a cutting edge too.

    Prediction: 2-0

As I bring you images of winter woollens, it's only right I tell you Eden Hazard is warming up while wearing a snood. He's gone down in my estimations.

  4. Return of the Moratapublished at 14:35 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2017

Chelsea make three changes to the side which drew at Everton with the most notable being a return for Alvaro Morata after he served a ban. Much was made about the Blues wasting chances at Goodison Park so the onus is placed on the Spaniard.

Cesc Fabregas and Gary Cahill also come into the starting line-up.

Chelsea XI: Courtois, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Rudiger, Moses, Kante, Fabregas, Bakayoko, Alonso, Hazard, Morata.

Chris Hughton meanwhile makes four changes despite seeing his Brighton side record their only win in eight matches last time out.

Shane Duffy is back from a ban, while Matias Schelotto comes in to make just his third start of the season. Beram Kayal also gets the nod having only come off the bench against Watford, while Jose Izquierdo is also back in the starting line-up.

Brighton XI: Ryan, Schelotto, Duffy, Dunk, Suttner, Stephens, Propper, Kayal, March, Izquierdo, Hemed.

Chelsea's players are out on the pitch to warm up as the video above shows.

Alvaro Morata has been darting around like a man with a point to prove. The striker, banned for their draw at Everton, has 11 goals across all club competitions so far this term. That's not bad in 24 outings but given the numbers Harry Kane has been posting, is it enough to justify a £60m move?

I can see some keep ball being played in the Brighton half, a small-sided possession game is warming the Seagulls on Boxing Day.

So what did you have? Did Santa treat you well? And how sore is the head today? A little tender perhaps?

I'll try to guide you through this Premier League fixture with a bit of grace and a few laughs. Anything you want to know just tweet me @LukeReddy or on #bbcfootball.

We have a Chelsea side in form but miles from the summit and a Brighton side bouncing off a victory with hope of stepping closer to Premier League safety. Home win all over it?

Oh yes. That time of the year. Christmas football.

I mean seriously, is there anything better. Time off work, a full belly, a few new clothes to pick from, well, definitely new socks at the very least.

And of course, most importantly the chance to get away from annoying family members and let off some steam.

Go on my friends, let it out. Yell, scream, do what you want. We are ready to rock.
