It took a little while to get going but has been fairly entertaining so far. Not chance after chance by any means but some good build-up play, lots of nearly things and we now have a goal - courtesy of Fulham's Floyd Ayite.

The hosts have edged it in turns of openings and possession, and are good value for that lead.

Two minutes of first-half stoppage time is being played.

    Fulham 1-0 Hull

How will the Tigers react to that? They played well for much of the first half against Derby last week but found themselves 4-0 down at the break.

It won't be 4-0 tonight at the midway point, but is their confidence brittle.

And remember Fulham don't concede many goals, just four in nearly six-and-a-half league games this season.

    Floyd Ayite

Fulham have the first goal and they have just about deserved it on the balance of play.

Floyd Ayite taps the ball in at the back post from a Sheyi Ojo cross. Simple but effective.

    Fulham 0-0 Hull

With just over five minutes to go until the break, we have only had two shots on target, one for each team and both producing good saves by the respective keepers.

the game's been better than that though. Plenty of close calls and nearly things.

Jarrod Bowen (pictured right) is looking as likely as anyone to break the deadlock for the Tigers.

Fulham have had the better of things, no doubt, but the visitors do look dangerous on the counter-attack.

Fulham are beginning to turn the screw. Floyd Ayite is once again prominent, the striker finding Neeskens Kebano whose strike is blocked.

Sheyi Ojo misses a decent chance for the Londoners.

Ryan Fredericks has a cross half-cleared after some classy approach play, and moments later Ojo smacks his effort wide of the post.
