Hmm, that didn't go to plan for Chelsea, but what a first half from Reading!

  11. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Reading 1-0 Chelsea

Apart from that bright opening 10 minutes, when Mary Earps made a couple of fine saves, Chelsea haven't been at the races.

Karen Carney whips in another superb set-piece but it goes all the way through and out for a throw in to Reading.

Can they grab an equaliser before half-time?

GOAL: Reading 1-0 Chelseapublished at 35 mins

    Remi Allen

Reading go ahead and it's the first goal Chelsea have conceded in WSL 1 this campaign!

    It's shoddy defending.

Chelsea goalkeeper Hedvig Lindahl produces a weak punch, they fail to clear and Fara Williams finds Remi Allen with a cute backheel.

Allen is left with the easiest of finishes from a few yards out. Shock alert!

  13. ouch!

    Postpublished at 32 mins

    Reading 0-0 Chelsea

You don't want that when it's minus 100 degrees outside.

Millie Bright powers a clearance straight into the face of her Chelsea team-mate Maren Mjelde.

    The Norwegian is okay though.

  14. Postpublished at 30 mins

    Reading 0-0 Chelsea

    Chelsea are looking frustrated.

Captain Katie Chapman smashes an effort way over from 30 yards.

That's all they're being allowed at the moment.

  15. Postpublished at 28 mins

    Reading 0-0 Chelsea

That's fine defending from Reading's Jo Potter.

Karen Carney bends in another dangerous cross towards Drew Spence, but Potter launches herself at the ball and heads away.

    Brave.

  16. Postpublished at 26 mins

    Reading 0-0 Chelsea

Both teams are giving their opponents absolutely no space.

    Hence the goalless scoreline.

  17. Postpublished at 23 mins

    Reading 0-0 Chelsea

I'm sure Reading will be the happier of the two teams as they reach the midway point of this first half.

It's been scrappy at times, but two fine stops by home goalkeeper Mary Earps have kept the WSL 1 leaders at bay.

  18. Postpublished at 19 mins

    Reading 0-0 Chelsea

Apart from that little wobble a couple of minutes ago, Chelsea look so organised.

It's going to be tough for Reading to find a way through.

Don't forget, Chelsea haven't conceded a goal in WSL 1 this season.

  19. Postpublished at 17 mins

    Reading 0-0 Chelsea

That could have been a disaster for Chelsea.

Millie Bright and goalkeeper Hedvig Lindahl get in a complete mess on the six-yard line - it's mine, no it's yours, okay it's mine.

Eventually Bright clears. As you were.

  20. Postpublished at 14 mins

    Reading 0-0 Chelsea

Chelsea's Karen Carney whips in a free-kick from the left, Maren Mjelde connects with a header, but flicks it wide.

There's a goal coming in this game...
