  2. Card controversy in Colerainepublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Coleraine 0-0 Linfield

Drama on the stroke of half-time - Linfield striker Andrew Waterworth is brought down by Stephen O'Donnell as he races through on goal. Referee Arnold Hunter decides it merits only a yellow card but it would not have been a suprise if a red was shown. Linfield are not happy and that's a let-off for the Bannsiders.

    Carrick Rangers 0-1 Dungannon Swifts

Ally Teggart fires in the opener for Dungannon on 39 minutes. Paul McElroy delivers a cross to the backpost and Ryan Harpur's cushioned header sets up the midfielder to smash in and give the visitors a deserved lead.

  5. Blues miss outpublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Coleraine 0-0 Linfield

In a game of few chances you have to capitalise on the ones that come your way. Linfield failed to do just that from a free-kick 20 yards out and in a central position - you couldn't place it in a better spot. Niall Quinn sends his strike on target but it fails to trouble keeper Chris Johns.

  7. OVER!published at 15:35 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Crusaders 1-3 Glenavon

Another Heatley volley flashes just over the bar, flicking the ball over the defender's head before smashing one into the stands. Heatley has certainly been the driving force for the home side but as a collective attacking unit, they don't quite seem to be working in harmony.

It's been a hectic first-half and it looks as though Glenavon may try to slow the tempo down a bit when they are in possession. More than anything at this point, Gary Hamilton will be looking to get into the dressing room with this two-goal cushion.

  8. Lacklustre stuff in Carrickpublished at 15:33 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Carrick Rangers 0-0 Dungannon Swifts

Little to report from a dull opening 30 minutes at the Belfast Loughshore Arena. Paul McElroy tested Rangers keeper Harry Doherty from long-range and Dungannon are seeing more of the ball. A goal would be very handy to spark a bit of life into this one!

    Glentoran 0-1 Cliftonville

Joe Gormley delivers a fantastic cross to the back post and Rory Donnelly dives in to head Cliftonville into the lead!

    Ballymena United 2-0 Ards

Andrew Burns makes it 2-0 to David Jeffrey's men in the 29th minute. Cathair Friel looked to have been fouled by Ards keeper San Johnstone but, just as the referee seemed about to award a penalty, the ball fell to Burns who found the net.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Crusaders 1-3 Glenavon

We're only 29 minutes into the game but Michael Carvill's afternoon is already over and is replaced by Jordan Forsythe. Carvill had endured a nightmare start to the game thanks to the attacking impetus of Marshall on the right and Stephen Baxter has decided that he has seen enough.

  12. Jamie fails to test Carrollpublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Coleraine 0-0 Linfield

Space is at a premium but Bannsiders forward Jamie McGonigle finds room 20 yards out, only to fire straight at Blues keeper Roy Carroll. Linfield are beginning to edge possession although it's a case of defences on top as we approach the half-hour mark.

GOALpublished at 15:25 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Crusaders 1-3 Glenavon

    Mitchell makes it three!

Oh dear, Colin Coates will be kicking himself. The Crusaders captain does brilliantly to intercept an attack, but gives it straight away and pays the ultimate price, with Sykes playing it to Griffin who finds Mitchell three yards out for the finish.

  14. SAVE!published at 15:23 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Crusaders 1-2 Glenavon

Brilliant piece of play by Heatley to create another chance as he drops the shoulder to ghost past his man before driving a low effort at Tuffey. The Glenavon keeper was relatively comfortable in stopping it but Heatley looks really up for this.

  15. OVER!published at 15:21 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Crusaders 1-2 Glenavon

What an imaginative effort from Heatley! He's already smashed one cracking effort into the top corner this afternoon and tries his luck to get another, with a volley on the turn from 25 yards. He can't quite keep it down though.

  17. Reds pressing highpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Glentoran 0-0 Cliftonville

It's fairly cagey stuff at The Oval so far. Cliftonville are pressing high and closing the home side down but Glentoran look polished in possession, with Curtis Allen looking a threat as always.

  18. Little to choose between top twopublished at 15:13 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Coleraine 0-0 Linfield

Ten minutes into the top-of-the-table encounter and it's a tight, tense affair so far. A few meaty challenges have gone in but we await the first clear opening in front of a big and vocal Showgrounds crowd.

  19. goal

GOALpublished at 15:13 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Crusaders 1-2 Glenavon

Mark Griffin puts Glenavon back into the lead! What an explosive start to this game! Marshall - who has been excellent so far - drives forward on the right flank before laying it off to Hall. He sends a teasing ball across the six-yard area where Griffin was on hand to nudge home from point-blank range.

Chaotic, breathless stuff on the Shore Road. Glenavon look every bit a side who haven't played in two weeks. They're fresh, sharp and really taking the game to Crues.

  20. goal

GOALpublished at 15:10 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Crusaders 1-1 Glenavon

It's a screamer from Paul Heatley! Well, the diminutive forward has an impressive portfolio of strikes to his name and this is definitely one he will want to see again.

Picking up the ball in midfield, he drove straight at the heart of the Glenavon defence, dropping the left shoulder before sending a rasping drive straight into the top corner from 20 yards. A brilliant solo effort.

    Game on at Seaview!
