    Leicester City

Tom West: Bit underwhelmed by the Puel appointment, then again I was when we brought in Claudio. If he works out half as well, not bad

Mizgan: Defensively, Leicester will be good and scoring goals from Vardy will be key to Puel's team.. 4231 would be a go to shape....

Mark Lynch: Could it be Leicester wanted someone else but he preferred to go to Everton so they've settled for Puel?

Mark Davies: You know, Puel may be a good choice for #LFC, external. Defensively orientated and hard to beat.

Andy White: Confused, not good enough for Southampton but good enough for Leicester. Not entirely sure how Puel is better than Shakespeare

  13. 'It would be great for us to go through'published at 19:41 British Summer Time 25 October 2017

Tottenham v West Ham (20:00 BST)

    West Ham United

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic tells Sky Sports: "It would be good to get the win. It is a big game, a derby and a cup tie. We are playing for the quarter-finals. Both sides have put strong teams out and would be great for us to go through.

"There are some players in who have trained well and get their chance but we have three games in one week so wanted to rest some players. We have put a strong team out.

"We spoke with the players, trained and it was obvious to see that the players cannot wait for this game ot start to make up for what happened against Brighton."

Like someone earlier on my school only let us play with a tennis ball, and there was a weekly collection of balls from the roof. Great days.

Even more shockingly a colleague earlier on was talking about a neighbour of his putting a fork through a football he had inadvertently kicked over the fence!

Shocking behaviour. Is it any wonder England haven't won a World Cup for so long?

    Fantastic stuff. Keep them coming...

When I were boy, we used balls o'pure concrete. Covered in poison. And we were grateful.

Ian Morgan bored on train going home

All my memories of school football were with an inflated Ribena carton and if you were the one to stamp it, you had to be the one to put it to your mouth and blow it back up. It was the good old days when nonsense like hygiene and germs didn't exist.

School Playtime - Jumpers for goalposts, concrete pitch and a bright yellow HARD plastic ball that your Dad got free with two gallons of 4 Star at a Shell Petrol Station. Brutal :-)

    GTG, Kent

We were not allowed balls in the playground so we squashed coke bottles flat and kicked them about, if you got air heading them bad boys capside was a trip to sick bay

Jel: At school my mates and I would often kick around a flat drinks carton. When it went through someone's legs we'd cry "nuts"!

    A badge? A badge?!

This is getting a bit Monty Python...

We used to play football with a bunch of old socks tied-up in an unmarked concrete playground in primary school. Sadly, jumpers were not allowed as goalposts.

    Kieran Collins

Footballs were banned at our primary school (after we sent one of the younger kids over the fence to reclaim the ball from our horrible outdoor swimming pool), so we used a badge at break times.
