Suso lets fly with a rasping drive from 25 yards out and it forces Samir Handanovic into a superb save. It was moving in the air and the goalkeeper did well to push it over.

From the corner, the ball breaks to Fabio Borini outside the box, but again Milan cannot find a way past Handanovic, who dives low to his left to keep the ball out.

Mateo Musacchio thrashes home from close range after Andre Silva hits the post.

The decision goes to the Video Assistant Referee and we clearly see Musacchio was a couple of yards off side.

Nicely worked by Inter.

A move featuring Antonio Candreva and Ivan Perisic sees the ball played to Matias Vecino outside the box but he drags wide.

Japanese full-back Yuto Nagatomo puts a cross into the box but it is straight into the hands of Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Finally Milan come to life, a minute before half time.

It is brilliant play by midfielder Franck Kessie, turning in the middle of the park before striding forward.

He then slips a ball through into the box for the advancing Fabio Borini, whose stinging shot draws a superb low save by Samir Handanovic.

Borini then plonks the rebound into the side netting.

Milan's confidence is shot at the moment, they have lost two of their last five games and this is going towards another defeat unless they pull themselves together.

It does not help when your goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma kicks the ball straight out of play when he is under no pressure.

His team-mate Mauro Icardi does well to hold the ball up and lay it off to him, but the Croatian's strike is lashed over the crossbar.

Inter then fashion another opportunity, but Icardi's shot from outside the box is straight at Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
