HT: Stevenage 1-0 Nantwich Town
Some Nantwich Town players hadn't been born when former Burnley, Crewe and Northern Ireland forward Steve Jones was carving out a name for himself in the game.
Having just turned 41, Jones is finishing his prolonged playing career with the Cheshire non-leaguers - the 18th club of his career.
Nantwich's team includes several teenagers but Jones hopes to come off the bench for the seventh-tier Northern Premier League Premier Division side - nicknamed the Dabbers - at League Two Stevenage this afternoon, where they currently trail 1-0.
You can read more in our colleague Neil Johnston's piece here.
The first-round drama doesn't end today, as there are nine further ties to follow tomorrow.
All of Sunday's games involve at least one non-league outfit and all kick-off at 14:00 GMT, including Truro City's trip to Charlton and Sutton United's visit to Cambridge.
On the BBC Sport website and app we'll have in-play clips, FA Cup Final Score coverage, radio commentary and more written gems from the two of us.
Then, to wrap up the round, Chorley host Fleetwood Town on Monday at 19:45 GMT.

James Collins (45+1 mins)
League Two Luton take the lead against 2008 FA Cup winners Portsmouth on the stroke of half-time.
James Collins smashes the Hatters in front.
John Marquis (45+2 mins)
Doncaster have another! They're back on terms.
John Marquis gets the visitors' second goal in as many minutes, slotting in on the rebound, and the National League hosts' two-goal lead has evaporated, right before the break.
Zavon Hines (43 mins)
Wow.
An incredible story is developing in the West Country.
Zavon Hines gives National League Maidstone a three-goal advantage at League Two Cheltenham with a deft finish just before the break.
Tommy Rowe (45+1 mins)
The League One side pull one back in first-half stoppage time as Tommy Rowe tucks in from inside the six-yard box.
Boreham Wood 0-0 Blackpool
How unlucky for Callum Cooke.
He smashes a shot against the upright from just inside the area - he absolutely belted it.
Still goalless.
Cheltenham 0-2 Maidstone
If you want to follow Maidstone's progress at Cheltenham, then we've added BBC Radio Kent's commentary of the match at the top of the page.

Boreham Wood 0-0 Blackpool
Final Score
Boreham Wood manager Luke Garrard: "I'll be telling them at half-time to put their foot on the ball and play with more confidence.
"We've worked hard and I think we can have more confidence and getting the ball down.
"I think it will get more expansive after half-time."
Ebbsfleet 2-0 Doncaster Rovers
Well, well, well... Ebbsfleet have a two-goal lead and, on the balance of play, they deserve it.
Doncaster Rovers had a decent first 10 minutes, but the non-league side have really taken the game to them since then.
They almost get a quick third, but Myles Weston's left-wing shot is palmed away by Rovers keeper Ian Lawlor.
Matt Lench (35 mins)
Seventh-tier Slough Town are in front at National League North side Gainsborough Trinity.
Matt Lench jinked his way into the box and slotted in to give the Berkshire side the lead.
Sixth-tier Chelmsford City are 2-0 down at National League Gateshead.
League One leaders Shrewsbury are 2-0 up against Aldershot, while Rotherham are leading at League Two Crewe.
Rochdale have doubled their lead against Bromley.
Luke Coulson (37 mins)
Oh my! The National League side double their lead!
Luke Coulson burts clear and it's a super finish past the keeper. Two quick goals here have given League One Doncaster a huge task to avoid being knocked out.
Simeon Akinola (30 mins)
Shock on at Ewood Park? League Two leads League One.
It's the same story at Brunton Park, where Hallam Hope has doubled Carlisle's lead against Oldham.
Boreham Wood 0-0 Blackpool
That's the best chance for National League Boreham Wood of this first half.
Angelo Balanta gets his head on a corner, it's heading towards goal, but it hits his own player Shaun Jeffers and trickles wide.
Danny Kedwell pen (35 mins)
Sound the Cup upset klaxon! Ebbsfleet are beating League One Doncaster Rovers.
Danny Kedwell's penalty is too strong for Rovers keeper Ian Lawlor, who was booked for the foul that brought the spot-kick.
A reminder that we'll have goal clips and highlights from today's FA Cup first-round ties on the BBC Sport website and app from 17:15 GMT.
