    Shaw Lane held their own against a side 58 places above them in the league structure, but two moments of brilliance from Danny Rose turned the game.

    Rose nodded in on 73 minutes, before a stunning scissor kick five minutes later sealed the victory.

    So seventh-tier Shaw Lane's FA Cup journey is almost at an end, but Mansfield are heading through to round two and there could be as many as 26 other clubs joining them later today.

    The FA Cup provides the chance for any player at any level to become a hero for the day, and a club legend for a lifetime.

    Particularly in the early rounds, it's also a great proving ground for the stars of tomorrow to begin their footballing journey.
