Matt (16:07) makes a good point and if it was Chelsea, Spurs or even Arsenal running away with it then maybe they would be happy with the progress. However, it's City so they're going to continue to moan (imagine if it was Liverpool - they'd be even worse).

It is a good finish from Nathan Ake, he has finished it like a striker. It is poor defending, but if you are Eddie Howe and you have a centre half who can get you three or four goals a season you are laughing.

    Man Utd 1-2 Burnley

    What's he doing??

Romelu Lukaku mis-times his free header from Marcus Rashford's cross. Instead of nodding an effort at goal, the Belgian's effort goes across the area.

On the follow-up, full-back Luke Shaw leathers a strike straight at Nick Pope.

Yannick Bolasie's Everton return after a year out lasts an hour, he is replaced by Aaron Lennon.

    Ramadan Sobhi (60 mins)

Stoke have had some lucky escapes but are back level as Ramadan Sobhi gets his second goal in as many games.

The forward, who replaced the injured Ryan Shawcross in the first half, turns in Joe Allen's low ball behind the defence from close range.

Lingard will get the credit for that goal but Ashley Young has been exceptional, every time he has the ball something happens. The contrast in delivery between him and Shaw is shocking.

    Huddersfield 1-0 Stoke

Huddersfield are playing some superb football at times, pulling Stoke one way and then the other and they really should be 2-0 up as Rajiv van la Parra is denied from close range by Jack Butland before Steve Mounie lashes over from close range after being picked out by Tommy Smith.

    Chelsea 1-0 Brighton

Tough now for Brighton. They had done so well to frustrate Chelsea for long periods but will now need to be a bit more adventurous if they are to get something from this game. At the moment, it's just wave after wave of Chelsea attacks.

    Jesse Lingard (53 mins)

    Back in it.

These two almost combined earlier, they do this time.

Ashley Young puts a low cross into the box, Jesse Lingard finishes it off with a cute back-flick into the bottom corner.

Remember this day last year when Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored that scorpion kick against Sunderland?

This flick was almost as good.

"United, United," chant the home supporters, who have come alive.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2017

    Man Utd 0-2 Burnley

    How did this stay out???

The two subs almost combine and United should be on the scoreboard.

Ashley Young plays a wicked ball across the six-yard box and somehow Jesse Lingard misses an open net, shooting onto the crossbar.

OMG, looking at the replay, it is a stunning save by Nick Pope, tipping the ball onto the woodwork with his nose.

  18. CLOSE!published at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2017

    Bournemouth 1-1 West Ham

Good build up play by Bournemouth doesn't have the finish it deserves as Callum Wilson curls an effort wide. He had space and time on the edge of the area. Probably should have done better.
