    Nothing quite like a countdown....

    We will lose one nominee after another (you can watch on BBC Brit) from 17:30 GMT - and the announcement of the winner will also be shown on BBC World News from 17:50 GMT.

    Presenter Mimi Fawaz will be joined by former Nigeria striker Efan Ekoku and DR Congo international Gabriel Zakuani.

    And there is also a special BBC World Service Facebook Live from 17:30 GMT.

    Presenter Stanley Kwenda will be joined by BBC Africa deputy editor Josephine Hazeley, BBC Arabic's Mohamed Qoutb and BBC Africa's Nick Cavell (BBC African sport).

    It is worth stressing, the countdown isn't from the player finishing fifth through to the winner - it is just a case of eliminating the four who did not win before revealing the winner. Got that?
