  1. 'Cahill offers something different'published at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2018

    Chelsea 0-0 Leicester

    Danny Mills
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

I'm a little surprised that Andreas Christensen has been left out, he's been very solid at the back but what I do think is important is that Gary Cahill offers a threat going forward, certainly at corners. In the past you had John Terry contributing goals and Cahill does offer Chelsea that something different.

    Chelsea 0-0 Leicester

A great move involving Eden Hazard and Tiemoue Bakayoko on the left eventually results in a corner after N'Golo's Kante's strike ricochets off a defender.

From the resulting corner, Victor Moses smashes a venomous effort which thankfully for the Foxes is blocked in the area.

    Leicester survive.

  5. 'Chelsea have busiest schedule'published at 14:56 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2018

    Chelsea v Leicester (15:00 GMT)

    John Motson
    Match of the Day commentator

Amid their involvement in three knockout competitions, Chelsea can't afford to let their league form slip.

Five clubs are jostling for three Champions League places behind runaway leaders Manchester City, and Chelsea look set to have the busiest schedule over the next few months.

The prospect of a potential 20 games in 75 days will stretch a squad short on numbers. There's not much proven quality outside the strongest matchday 18. Expect Antonio Conte to keep raising the need for reinforcements during this transfer window.

Looking at historical and current form, you wouldn't give Leicester much chance. They are not the same team without Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez and manager Claude Puel will be relieved if he can keep them both this month.

  6. 'I want to finish this period'published at 14:53 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2018

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata (who has not scored since Boxing Day): "I want to score and play well. Sometimes we have a bad period. I want to finish this period. I want to score and help the team."

  13. A 'little' hintpublished at 14:18 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2018

    Chelsea v Leicester (15:00 GMT)

    Lilliput

Oh Antonio, how you've delighted the Premier League with your animated expressions, passion and the promotion of 'littleism'. But how much longer do we have you for?

Conte has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge since the start of the season, but this week he suggested for the first time that his future ain't all that secure at the west London club.

Anyway, if he does leave it could be on a high if his team can finish above that of the "little man" of all seasons, Jose Mourinho.

The Blues are one point below Man Utd and face former champions Leicester at their gaff today.

The Foxes have suffered three losses in five and have lost 12 of the last 14 meetings in all competitions against Chelsea. So there's a good chance this could be another victory for the Londoners.
