That's just about it from us this evening on a night when Wolves have passed the 50-point marker after 22 games.

Their haul of 51 points is the most they've ever had at this stage of a season in the era of three points for a win.

It would take a brave man to bet against Nuno Espirito Santo's men winning promotion from here.

If you want to relive the action take a read of James Law's match report. In the meantime, have a good night and we'll be back at 14:00 GMT tomorrow with more EFL action.

So victory for Wolves, defeat for Sheffield Wednesday in a game of only one shot on target per side.

A game of fine margins then.

The difference being Ruben Neves' measured finish from 25 yards, while Joost Van Aken's header was comfortably saved by John Ruddy.

But this defeat will increase the pressure on Owls boss Carlos Carvalhal who, after taking the club to the play-offs two seasons running, sees his side in the wrong half of the table and on a run of five games without a win.

Goals from Kaiyne Woolery and Kellan Gordon were not enough for the hosts, who drop to 10th going into tomorrow's games.
