Good afternoon and welcome to our coverage of an afternoon of Irish Premiership action which promises much in terms of drama and excitement.

Leaders Coleraine travel to Solitude to face a Cliftonville side who have lost their last two games against Linfield and Crusaders.

Remarkably, the Bannsiders have lost only three league matches throughout the course of 2017 so far, and only five in senior domestic competition.

In another key fixture, Linfield entertain Crusaders, whose run of 10 victories and a draw from their last 11 top flight outings has put them firmly in contention to regain the title they lost to the Blues at the end of the last campaign.

Ballymena versus Glenavon is a match-up which has produced 60 goals in their last 15 meetings, 45 of those to the Lurgan Blues, so expect plenty of goalmouth action at the Showgrounds today.

Dungannon Swifts and Glentoran meet at Stangmore Park, while Warrenpoint Town play host to Ards, who have won the first two games of their festive programme.
