During the week, Burnley moved to sign Tottenham winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou on loan for the rest of the season.

The 22-year-old former Nantes and Marseille player joined Spurs for £9.4m in August 2016 and has made six appearances this season, the latest as a substitute in Sunday's FA Cup win over AFC Wimbledon.

He starts on the bench today, so it'll be interesting to see how much of an impact he can make for the Clarets.

  3. What the managers saypublished at 14:45 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2018

Crystal Palace v Burnley (15:00 GMT)

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson on Sean Dyche: "He has built up a very good team and over the last couple of years he has got them playing well and picking up points in the Premier League.

"I don't think there are secrets [behind his success]. He has a team that is well organised and understand what is required of them, and are well suited to the roles they are asked to play. If that is the secret, it is one I discovered many years ago."

Burnley manager Sean Dyche: "We've played some pretty big teams, and we've been unfortunate, I feel, not to have more rewards. We could easily have come out of that run with two, three or five more points.

"I don't want to be too greedy over the season but I have been delighted with the group and how they have adapted to the challenge of losing some players and now we want to keep moving forwards."

Hello, and welcome to our live text commentary as Crystal Palace entertain Burnley in the Premier League at Selhurst Park.

The last match between these sides spelled the end of Frank de Boer's short spell as Palace boss, but, under the guidance of Roy Hodgson, the Eagles are on a roll, with just one defeat in their last 11 meaning they are 14th and two points clear of the relegation zone.

Not a bad return for a club who began the season with no points or goals to show for their first seven league games.

Burnley, meanwhile, arrive in south London without a win in their past five, but despite that run of form Sean Dyche's side remain seventh in the division - and boast an away record that is only bettered by Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool and the two Manchester clubs.
