Moyes says he wants his side to play "like Tottenham, like Chelsea" if he remains in charge beyond the end of this season.

The Hammers were more Sunday League than Premier League in a truly dire 0-0 draw with Shrewsbury last week but they have been much better today against a good Huddersfield side.

Moyes is dreaming big. And why not...

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2018

    Huddersfield 1-1 West Ham

Not many chances in that first half for either side but Noble and Lolley were clinical. It's certainly competitive. Either team can win this. More of the same please!

  6. Postpublished at 45+1 mins

    Huddersfield 1-1 West Ham

The fans are enjoying this. Lolley finds himself on the ball in almost the exact same position from which he scored from just minutes ago and the crowd scream "shooooooooot" in anticipation.

He crosses it instead and eventually it runs away from Tom Ince.

    Huddersfield 1-1 West Ham

It wasn't a bad corner either but Pablo Zabaleta uses his experience to calmly head the ball out of danger after it was headed on at the near post.

There were a few "ooh" and "ahh"s from the crowd but they're just getting a bit excited.

    Huddersfield 1-1 West Ham

One minute to go of normal time in this first half. Will both teams settle going in all square at the break?

Huddersfield look like they want to add another and they have a corner.

  9. goal

    Joe Lolley

Don't listen to me. West Ham have just conceded!

And what a goal it is too. Joe Lolley steps inside onto his left foot on the edge of the box and curls a wonderful strike past Adrian.

    Corker, that.

    Huddersfield 0-1 West Ham

The home fans are getting anxious. They want an equaliser before half-time.

Christopher Schindler has had two glimpses at goal in the past two minutes (well, barely half-chances) but West Ham don't look like conceding.

  11. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Huddersfield 0-1 West Ham

A noticeable difference in the West Ham side since Moyes took over is their willingness to press the ball.

Noble's earlier goal was a result of that and Arnautovic has just busted his lungs chasing the ball around the back four.

It almost pays off as the Hammers win back possession in midfield but Huddersfield are alert and get it straight back.

  12. Postpublished at 34 mins

    Huddersfield 0-1 West Ham

There's not much between the two sides at the moment.

Huddersfield have enjoyed more possession but West Ham have started to grow into the game in the past 10 minutes.

They have another corner here too.

    Huddersfield 0-1 West Ham

    Oh, that was close!

Rajiv van La Parra fires a ball across the box and it wasn't far off two incoming Huddersfield players but it skips past everyone and goes out for a throw-in.

West Ham then look to counter-attack quickly and earn a free-kick on the edge of the box.

  14. Postpublished at 30 mins

    Huddersfield 0-1 West Ham

West Ham look confident now. Cheikhou Kouyate uses his strength well to shrug off defenders and escapes down the right.

His low cross is an awful one though and it trickles into the box, where Lossl is waiting to gather it up.

  15. Postpublished at 27 mins

    Huddersfield 0-1 West Ham

Lolley was furious with Lossl for that pass but the goalkeeper was equally as frustrated, gesturing his defender should have been more alert.

It was a risky ball to say the least...

  16. goal

GOAL - Huddersfield 0-1 West Hampublished at 25 mins

    Mark Noble

Oh dear. It's an awful pass from goalkeeper Jonas Lossl to Joe Lolley and he's immediately put under pressure by Mark Noble.

The Hammers' skipper finishes it in style, smashing it into the top of the net. Game on!

  17. Can Moyes make it 200 wins?published at 24 mins

    Huddersfield 0-0 West Ham

    David MoyesImage source, .

David Moyes is on the brink of joining some decent company today.

He's one shy of becoming the fourth manager to win 200 Premier League matches, after Alex Ferguson (528), Arsene Wenger (468) and Harry Redknapp (236).

West Ham are four games without defeat in all competitions but so far they have struggled to create any sort of chance.

  18. Postpublished at 22 mins

    Huddersfield 0-0 West Ham

Lovely turn from Arnautovic. He is put under pressure from Huddersfield's midfield but he turns sharply, escapes several tackles and earns a free-kick.

  19. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Huddersfield 0-0 West Ham

This is better from West Ham. Arthur Masuaku and Manuel Lanzini are combining well down the left.

There's still not been a shot from either side yet though.

  20. Busy window for West Hampublished at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2018

    Kevin Kilbane
Former Republic of Ireland winger on Final Score

It wouldn't surprise me if David Moyes gets in one or two defenders in January, but only if the price is right. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Javier Hernandez go, because it seems like he's not part of Moyes' plans. So, if he goes they'll be another striker to bring in, too, it's going to be a busy window for West Ham.
