  16. Watford's form concerns Silvapublished at 14:48 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2018

Leicester City v Watford (15:00 GMT)

Watford boss Marco Silva says the club's recent poor form is troubling him.

They have won just one of their last 10 Premier League matches and start the day six points above the relegation places.

"Of course I am concerned because this is not what we work for.

"The form is not the best, even though in some games we did enough to take more points, although this was not the case in the last two or three matches," said Silva

"We need to work more, analyse why and keep going and keep working hard."

At first glance, this fixture appears to be a mid-table clash with little riding on it. However, both sides will be anxious to turn around their recent poor form.

Leicester might feel they should have won at Chelsea last weekend, and Claude Puel has them playing attractive football. However, they have been without their regular back four for a while and question marks remain over the future of Riyad Mahrez, who has excelled of late.

Watford have looked out of sorts ever since Marco Silva was linked to the Everton job in November.

Their last win at Leicester was a 2-1 Championship victory in 2013. The Foxes' goalscorer that day was a young loanee named Harry Kane. I wonder what's happened to him?

Leicester City v Watford (15:00 GMT)

While we are talking about forwards, let's have a look at Watford's options.

Richarlison has been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea this week. There's no doubting he's a good player but he also hasn't scored since November.

Troy Deeney is another forward regularly linked with a move away. He's scored three times this season and has spoken about seeing a sports psychologist following a season blighted by disciplinary problems.

Andre Carrillo also starts today. He's scored twice for Watford this season.

Watford's record signing, Andre Gray, has four goals, including one in each of his last two appearances but he has to settle for a place on the bench today.

  19. Strikers, strikers everywherepublished at 14:38 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2018

Leicester City v Watford (15:00 GMT)

Leicester City boss Claude Puel admits he's struggling to keep all of his strikers happy.

Islam Slimani has been linked with an exit this month and club record signing Kelechi Iheanacho has struggled to get starts in the Premier League. The Nigerian has had to settle for a place on the bench today.

"I repeat what I have said all along, we have a lot of strikers and we need to make a good balance in the team and give some game time for all the players," said Puel.

"We will see if some player can win some game time at other clubs. We have to discuss with these players."

Regis, a pioneer for black footballers in the game, died aged 59, on Sunday.

He'll be honoured ahead of all of this weekend's fixtures in the Premier League and West Brom will celebrate his life after his funeral on 30 January.
