Prince Gyimah: From 2007, Real Madrid's record both home and away has been awful in 22 fixtures: 6W 4D and 12L.

Lionel Messi's set-up for Aleix Vidal's late third was his 200th assist for Barcelona.

I honestly don't think anyone could have seen this coming when Real Madrid thrashed Barcelona 5-1 on aggregate in the Spanish Super Cup, winning both legs.

They were so brilliant last season, winning La Liga and the Champions League.

But surely Zinedine Zidane has enough credit in the bank to see this out.

Arriaga II: No bravery from Zidane. The home team against a hardly vintage Barca. To leave Bale/Asensio on the bench until losing and no Isco whatsoever! Only his reputation as player is keeping him in his job

Just seen some pictures and it looks like Lionel Messi actually set up Aleix Vidal's third while wearing only one boot. He just managed to keep the ball in play a few seconds earlier, and somewhere along the way he appeared to lose his right boot.

You can see the boot at the bottom of the photo below.

    Aleix Vidal

Well, I said they'd just brought on Aleix Vidal for the laugh...

But he's scored in El Clasico.

Lionel Messi gets the ball on the right wing, dances past a couple of defender and pulls it back - there's three players there and Vidal gets the shot in. Keylor Navas saves it... or does he? No, it wriggles past him and goes across the line.

Barcelona bring on Aleix Vidal for the laugh. Sergi Roberto comes off.

Vidal wins a corner almost immediately.

Marcelo is hobbling around but Real have used all their subs.

Three minutes added on and Andre Gomes shoots over from Lionel Messi's pass.

Toni Kroos takes a free-kick, which Sergio Ramos heads wide.. and he's offside anyway. There's definitely no late comeback here.

    Real Madrid 0-2 Barcelona

Lionel Messi almost scores his second as the corner lands to him 20 yards out but Keylor Navas keeps out his shot.
