It is a key date in the history of Oldham Athletic as their match against Plymouth Argyle marks the start of the Abdallah Lemsagam era.
The Moroccan football agent’s takeover was approved and ratified by the English Football League on Friday.
Lemsagam’s agreed a deal with majority shareholder Simon Corney, which ends his 14-year association with the Latics.
After five minutes, it remains scoreless.

Barnsley v Fulham (15:00 GMT)
Barnsley players are paying their respects to former owner Patrick Cryne, who died earlier this week, by wearing black armbands.
His death, at the age of 66, came just a month after the sale of the club to a consortium involving Chinese billionaire Chien Lee and Moneyball pioneer Billy Beane.
During his time at the club, Barnsley twice won promotion from League One, reached an FA Cup semi-final in 2008 and lifted the Johnstone's Paint Trophy in 2016.

Ipswich v Wolves (15:00 GMT)
There was another famous sporting face joining Wolves in the sunshine in Marbella this week.
Former heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury took time out from his own training programme to pose for pictures with some of Wolves' players, including club captain Danny Batth...
... while Portuguese winger Diogo Jota joked that there would only be one winner if he ever took on Fury inside the ring...

Back to the Championship and here's the team news...
Now for a look at League Two, where pacesetters Luton Town can go nine points clear at the summit if they win and other results go their way.
The Hatters travel to Grimsby, who are winless in eight matches and who have collected just three points from a possible 24 since mid-December.
Accrington Stanley can move up to second in the table if they beat Harry Kewell's in-form Crawley Town.
A win for Accrington would move them above Notts County, the side Crawley beat in midweek and who are today hosting Premier League side Swansea in the FA Cup fourth round.
Also in League One today, Chris Powell will be taking charge of Southend United for the first time when they entertain Scunthorpe.
The 48-year-old, who made 290 appearances for the Shrimpers as a player between 1990 and 1996, replaced Phil Brown at Roots Hall earlier this week.
The former England international and ex-Charlton and Huddersfield boss faces a difficult inauguration as 20th-placed Southend take on a side looking to edge closer to the automatic promotion places.
Elsewhere in League One, second-placed Blackburn, who are unbeaten in 16 league games prior to Northampton's visit, will be looking to make ground on leaders Wigan, who are in FA Cup action against West Ham.
Third-placed Shrewsbury, level on points with Blackburn, are also striving to keep pace at the top.
As mentioned previously, heavy rain on the Lancashire coast has forced the postponement of Blackpool's match against Charlton Athletic because of a waterlogged pitch.
The game may be off, but the tributes are going ahead as planned.
BBC Sport football producer Gary Flintoff gave us a picture of the scene outside Bloomfield Road a little earlier...

There will be tributes paid to former England captain and Blackpool great Jimmy Armfield across the land today.
Armfield, who made a club-record 627 appearances for the Tangerines, died of cancer aged 82 on Monday.
Unfortunately, the postponement of Blackpool's League One match against Charlton Athletic also means tributes inside Bloomfield Road have been called off.
However, Blackpool Supporters' Trust will still be paying their respects at Jimmy's statue outside the stadium.
As a gesture from football fans across England, a minute's applause is likely to be observed at many other grounds.

Tuesday's EFL action
Several of today's Championship games were postponed because of clubs' FA Cup commitments - most of those matches will be played on Tuesday and we'll have them all covered with live text commentary on the BBC Sport website and app.
Derby, Aston Villa and Sheffield United are among the teams in action, while two struggling sides - Birmingham and Sunderland - meet at St Andrew's.
Ipswich v Wolves, Bristol City v QPR, Barnsley v Fulham, Brentford v Norwich (all 15:00 GMT)
The leaders Wolves are the headline act, but by no means the only intriguing offering this afternoon.
Fifth-placed Bristol City are looking to get their promotion push back on track when they host QPR. City haven't won in four games in the league, losing three. But their impressive Carabao Cup exploits against Premier League champions elect Manchester City has had boss Lee Johnson talking about "a club on the rise".
One, but not both of QPR's fellow west London sides Brentford and Fulham could creep into the play-off places.
Fulham, who battered Burton 6-0 last time out and have taken 16 points a possible 18, are at struggling Barnsley. And the Bees, who have a 15-point haul from their past six games, face Norwich at Griffin Park.
Ipswich v Wolves (15:00 GMT)
Wolves are still nine points clear at the top of the Championship but it's fair to say that the level of the leaders' performances has dropped in recent weeks.
The answer to the mini blip? They've spent the past week at a warm weather training camp in Spain, in an attempt to re-energise their push for the Premier League.
"It was a decision that we made to go to a camp and work in a different environment," said head coach Nuno Espirito Santo before the squad departed for Marbella.
"One of the issues is the weather. We need vitamin D, we need the sun. We need to work in an environment with better weather conditions."
It's been a pretty filthy day weather wise for many people so far. Cold, wet, windy, miserable and depressing.
What we need is some jaw-droppingly good football to warm the cockles of your heart and thaw the extremities.
Over to you Ipswich, Wolves, Bristol City, QPR, Brentford, Norwich, Barnsley and Fulham.
Wolves, who could go 12 points clear at the top of the Championship table if they beat Ipswich, had the right idea in the build up to today's four games...
