Excitement aplenty in League Two tonight.

Wycombe, who were a goal down against Swindon after one minute, now lead 2-1 thanks to Craig Mackail-Smith's effort.

Unfortunately for Cardiff, Jamie Ward has to go off because of an injury, so on comes Yanic Wildschut after 13 minutes.

It's been a relatively even start at Hillsborough, but the hosts have spurned two half-chances, with Sean Clare shooting wide and Adam Reach blazing over.

It'll take something good to get past this experienced Rams backline. As our colleagues at BBC Radio Derby report, the last time Derby conceded as few as 24 goals after 31 league matches of a season was in 1985-86, when the Rams went on to win promotion from the third tier.

Cardiff City Stadium is only about half full tonight, a far cry from the Bluebirds' last home game - a fourth-round FA Cup tie against Manchester City in front of a sell-out crowd.

But with Cardiff vying for promotion, you could argue this evening's match is far more important than that previous outing.

Derby also make a bright start at Hillsborough, where the home side are bidding for their first league win under manager Jos Luhukay.

As we've already mentioned, unfortunately, one of tonight's schedule matches was defeated by a waterlogged pitch earlier today, so is OFF.

Port Vale v Exeter City was postponed at 10:30 GMT this morning after an early pitch inspection.

If you're a travelling Exeter fan, hopefully you're not currently scrambling to find a parking space in Burslem.

Meanwhile, Yeovil v Barnet passed a pitch inspection a short while ago and is ON.

Sheffield Wednesday haven't won in the league since Boxing Day and have drawn four and lost one of their five league games since Jos Luhukay took charge.

Under their new Dutch manager, the Owls have scored three times in those five league games.

Tonight they face a Derby side who are unbeaten in the Championship since November, and could move in to second position this evening.
