Burnley's Jeff Hendrick looks likely to score, as he scrambles for a loose ball after a corner with only Alex McCarthy in the visiting goal to beat but the linesman's flag goes up.

Oriol Romeu, who is back in the Saints team today to replace Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, is having a good game.

Defensively he's been very effective. Wins a free-kick there to take the pressure off his side by getting his body in front of the ball and drawing a foul.

The hosts are having a decent spell here. They're keeping the ball for starters, and beginning to stretch Southampton.

Ashley Barnes does ever so well to keep a long ball in as he races onto it. He tees up Aaron Lennon, who connects with a nicely struck effort but the backtracking Oriol Romeu clears for the visitors.

The ball is going sideways too much from both sides - Burnley need to start getting it into the box. They can cause problems when they do.

It's rare this happens but this game is so even that both sides, so far, have had exactly 50% possession each.
