Salomon Rondon wins a free-kick in the centre circle, which Jonny Evans chips forward but Craig Dawson can't reach and Huddersfield clear easily.

Florent Hadergjonaj is one of Huddersfield's main outlets, enjoying quite a bit of space on the right and cutting inside on several occasions. The ex-Ingolstadt man has not forced anything yet, but is a threat.

Jay Rodriguez stretches his legs to try to get on to a touch on from James McClean, but there's too much on it and the ball goes behind for a goal kick.

It's become a bit disjointed since that opening flurry of action.

Steve Mounie chases a ball over the top into the box, but Ben Foster comes out to collect to deny the Huddersfield striker.

Huddersfield have calmed things down after that initial burst, but despite some decent possession they have not got into the West Brom area, with Alex Pritchard losing possession of the edge of the box.

Kieran Gibbs crunches into Collin Quaner from behind and concedes a free-kick, provoking some furious arm-waving and a few words from the full-back towards referee Jonathan Moss.

Mathias Jorgensen concedes the first corner which Phillips swings over too closely to Lossl, who claims easily despite the sun shining right into his eyes over the main stand.

Within seconds, Salomon Rondon shoots from distance and although it flies well over the bar, it's another sign that the hosts are on the front foot.

Jay Rodriguez wins an early free-kick, which Matt Phillips takes quickly, allowing Rodriguez half a chance of running on to it inside the box. Jonas Lossl rushes out to smother, but the Baggies have started well.

And we're off, with Huddersfield getting the game under way

The teams have emerged into the bright sunshine at The Hawthorns after a lengthy wait in the tunnel - West Brom were hanging around for a few minutes before their opponents appeared.

Temperatures are plummeting as Britain braces itself for the weather front dubbed the "Beast from the east", but these fans are nicely wrapped up.

This is one you can put in the file marked "Relegation six-pointer", right? West Brom have won just once in their last 25 Premier League matches, and are five points adrift at the foot of the table.

Huddersfield's slide down the table has been alarming, but at least they won last time out in the top flight, seeing off Bournemouth with an excellent - and much-needed - 4-1 win.
