  7. 'A crucial point'published at 17:38 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2018

    Leicester 1-1 Bournemouth

    Leicester City

Leicester manager Claude Puel: "We deserved something more because it was crazy with all the chances in the second half. It is just one point but not enough for us at home. I am happy with the spirit and mentality of the team. They believed and tried until the end and it is an important goal from Riyad Mahrez. It is important to continue our momentum and we will play like we did in the second half in the future.

"We know the quality of Riyad and he is a valuable player for us. It is important he stayed, we know the stories from the transfer window but he returned to the squad with a good mentality, positive attitude in training and games. I am happy for him, he wanted to give his best for the team until the end of the season and it is a good reward for him. In the end he made the difference.

"It was the last opportunity to score in the game and quality players can make the difference from these situations. Him, Jamie Vardy or any other quality players. It is a crucial point for us because we gave our best in this game."

  8. Postpublished at 17:37 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2018

    Tottenham 2-0 Huddersfield

    Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield defender Christopher Schindler, speaking to Sky Sports: "Spurs were the better team. After the first 10-15 minutes, we dropped a little bit but we didn’t give them that many opportunities.

"We came out brave after half-time, but when we conceded the second goal the game was gone. You can’t expect that we will create 10-15 situations for ourselves.

"We can take a few positives out of the performance, but of course our focus is now on the crucial next two games."

  9. 'I'm embarrassed'published at 17:36 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2018

    Swansea 4-1 West Ham

    David MoyesImage source, Getty Images

West Ham manager David Moyes: "We played so bad. I couldn't assess it, it was that poor.

"The fans travelled through the snow to get here and we let them down badly. That was the poorest performance since I came here. I'm embarrassed.

"We conceded from two corners and a penalty. We had no intensity in our play, we thought we could just stroll about.

"Winston Reid is conscious, he was knocked out, we are more worried about the injury to his knee than the knock to his head. He's an important player for us so we hope it's not too bad.

"We should have saved the first one, we should head the second one away and the third one is a corner and the fourth is a penalty.

"We have to be much, much better. We have the players who can do it but getting them to perform is my job."

  10. 'We couldn't score'published at 17:34 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2018

    Southampton 0-0 Stoke

    Southampton

Southampton boss Mauricio Pellegrino: "We dominate the game in the second half and had the most clear chances. It is efficiency. We couldn't score. We couldn't convert the possession into goals. That is part of football. We are disappointed but we need to use the second half for the next game.

"The team played with more tempo second half and did enough to try and win the game, but we have to do it from the beginning. Maybe the tempo wasn't good enough at the start. There was a lot pressure. They pressed us and we couldn't find the spaces.

"You have to try and find different solutions. This is the Premier league. We know it is tough. Everyone tries to win the game. Every single game is important now."

  11. 'Deeney is vital at all times'published at 17:29 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2018

    Watford 1-0 West Brom

    Watford

Watford boss Javi Gracia, speaking to BBC Sport: "I don't waste my time thinking about that [being safe from relegation]. I am only focused on the next match and the next three points. I think this is the best mentality for the team.

"I am happy at this moment but only focused on the next match."

On goalscorer Troy Deeney: "I am happy to be here with Troy. He is vital at all times, he is the captain."

  12. 'Our heads are held high'published at 17:29 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2018

    Tottenham 2-0 Huddersfield

    Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield boss David Wagner: “I think it was a deserved win for Spurs and we were beaten by quality.

“The seconds before the second goal showed everything. We had a period of half-clear cut chances including one for Thomas Ince.

“A lot of things have to go in your favour. Spurs were absolutely on it today and showed their quality, we have to accept that.

“We are able to leave Wembley with our heads high, and we have two very interesting home games in front of us now.

“Our momentum will not be disturbed because of this defeat. The second half showed we are ready for this fight in front of us.”

  13. 'It took us seven hours'published at 17:28 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2018

    Swansea 4-1 West Ham

    West Ham United

West Ham captain Mark Noble: "It was a bad day at the office. We lost Winston Reid early and they then scored from that corner. Losing him shouldn't shake us up, we are professionals. We weren't good enough, end of. We didn't turn up.

"You can't dwell on it. We will fight to the finish.

"In this league results are so here and there you don't know what will happen. Hopefully this is a little blip and we can push on, we have three home games coming up, the next month is important for us.

"It will go to the wire. I can't believe how many fans turned up today. It took us seven hours to get here yesterday in the coach. They saw a poor performance but we appreciate them."

  14. 'We deserved it'published at 17:27 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2018

    Tottenham 2-0 Huddersfield

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pocchetino: "I was pleased with the performance, we deserved the three points.

"It is never easy to play Premier League games and today was tough.

"It’s not easy to play Huddersfield because you can’t play the tempo you want. At half-time, we fixed the situation and we dominated. We needed to be clinical, we had a lot of chances.

"Son’s performances have been consistent and he is helping the team to achieve. Three points today means we’re in a very good position in the table.

"There is a long way to go until the end of the season. We are going to fight to take our place in the top four."

  15. 'We are edging to safety'published at 17:24 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2018

    Leicester 1-1 Bournemouth

    Eddie HoweImage source, Reuters

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe: "It is a difficult one for us to take, we came back well from 2-0 down against Newcastle last week but there were only seconds left today. We just had to see it out.

"My emotion was a disgusted one to see the goal go in but you have to admire the technical quality for Riyad Mahrez to score from there. We had our backs to the walls for the majority of the second half and dug in well.

"Winning in this league makes a massive difference, but it is another point. We are edging to safety but looking to make it quicker."

  16. 'We could do with a break'published at 17:23 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2018

    Watford 1-0 West Brom

    West Bromwich Albion

West Brom boss Alan Pardew: "It was a really tight game. I feel for the players because we made one mistake in the game and it has been costly. We had chances.

"We could definitely do with a break. We had a couple of chances and I thought we had half a chance for a penalty. The players gave me everything today and I cannot ask for more than that.

"It is tough but it isn't about me it about West Brom and it is tough for the fans and the players.

"We won't give up the fight we will keep going until we get something. It is tough to stand in front of players and say you haven't really done much wrong today. Mistakes happen in football. Our defending - throwing our bodies on the line - some of our play was decent.

"We just have to keep battling through it.

"It is just a shame, I think the fans who travelled today would have seen we did everything. Last week we let ourselves down performance wise. Next week we have to show the fans a little more of what we showed today."

Tottenham attacker Son Heung-min: "The pass from Harry Kane was very good for me, it made it easy to score. I hope I can score many more goals for Tottenham. Harry is one of the best players in the world.

"The manager has to choose 11 players but there are many more. I try my best and try to be ready at all times.

"We feel comfortable at Wembley, we know how we play here. Of course it was going to take time but now we feel like we're at home. We enjoy playing here and we try to get three points from every match."

  18. 'Momentum is with us'published at 17:20 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2018

    Southampton 0-0 Stoke

    Stoke City

Stoke boss Paul Lambert, speaking to BBC MOTD: "We looked threatening in the first half. In the second they came at us. Credit to the team, a few months ago we would have lost it. It was fantastic.

"Look at the table and three points takes you to 13th I think. Momentum is with us. But a big credit to the team for that today.

"It looks like Mame Diouf's shoulder has popped out. I need to see how he is feeling. It was a big loss as he gave us an outlet."

  19. 'We are a broken record'published at 17:19 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2018

    Watford 1-0 West Brom

    West Bromwich Albion

    Ben FosterImage source, Getty Images

West Brom goalkeeper Ben Foster: "Gutted for the lads but it is becoming a bit of a broken record. The lads dug in, we had chances but yet again we have come out of the game having lost 1-0.

"It was a decent performance we just did not get the result again. The goal was a bit of a suckerpunch.

"There is no chance of anybody dipping their heads down and not cracking on with it. If we keep performing like that then hopefully we can start picking some points up.

"I have been at West Brom seven years, it is my club and the though of relegation is a really painful one."

  20. 'The players are everything'published at 17:18 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2018

    Swansea 4-1 West Ham

    Swansea City

Swansea boss Carlos Carvalhal to MOTD: "I am delighted, I am proud of my players.

"There is no secret to success. It is hard work, organisation, patience, dedication and correcting mistakes. We are better and better, we are really strong at the moment.

"I put the players in the centre of everything. If you don't have players who follow your ideas you can't achieve anything.

"We have trained hard at corners this week, movement, and we scored twice from them. Now we must create another strategy for the next game."
