Real Madrid v Alaves (15:15 GMT)

The crisis talk at Real Madrid has just started to cool down a tiny bit - well maybe down from 100% to 90%. They are still 14 points behind Barcelona in the league - but it's all about the Champions League now and they beat PSG in the first leg.

They have actually won four games in a row now in all competitions, their joint best run of the season. Beat 16th-placed Alaves now and this is as good as it's been all season for Zinedine Zidane's side.

Real Madrid v Alaves (15:15 GMT)

Gareth Bale makes his second start in five games in an increasingly rare 'BBC' link-up with Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

Real make five changes from Wednesday's weakened team who beat Leganes 3-1. Ronaldo returns from a rare rest, with Keylor Navas, Nacho, Lucas Vazquez and Bale all starting.

Four changes for Alaves - Alexis, Daniel Torres, Hernen Perez and ex-Real Madrid and Manchester City youngster Ruben Sobrino all start.
