It's another cold day in London town but there's no sign of the blizzard which made an appearance during Tottenham's the 6-1 FA Cup win over Rochdale in midweek.

I certainly don't expect the sudden appearance of several groundsmen mid-match to clear lines on the pitch as happened on Wednesday.

    Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield are back at Wembley just 10 months after winning at the national stadium to secure promotion to the Premier League.

The Terriers overcame Reading at the venue in the Championship play-off final last May to spark scenes of wild jubilation among their fans.

Beat Spurs and expect a repeat of those celebrations.

Defender Jan Vertonghen is back from an ankle injury for Tottenham, one of two changes Mauricio Pochettino makes to the side that started the 1-0 win at Crystal Palace last Sunday.

Son Heung-min also starts, Victor Wanyama and Erik Lamela dropping to the substitutes' bench.

Forward Fernando Llorente, who scored a 12-minute FA Cup hat-trick in midweek against Rochdale, does not feature in the 18.

Tottenham XI: Lloris, Aurier, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Davies, Dier, Dembele, Eriksen, Dele, Son, Kane.

No surprise that Huddersfield boss David Wagner sticks with the same XI that started the 2-1 win at West Brom on 24 February.

Midfielder Philip Billing is on the bench after illness along with full-back Chris Lowe, who has missed the past three games with a damaged ankle.

Midfielder Alex Pritchard starts against his former club.

Huddersfield XI: Lossl, Hadergjonaj, Jorgensen, Schindler, Kongolo, Hogg, Williams, Quaner, Pritchard, van La Parra, Mounie.

Yes, the champions of Italy are getting ready to come to Wembley.

Yet it is the highest placed team in Yorkshire who are at the national stadium today - hoping to throw a spanner in the well-oiled machine that is Tottenham.

Pochettino's side start fourth in the table but will climb to third above Liverpool - who entertain Newcastle at 17:30 GMT - if only for the length of time it takes to build a decent snowman.

A home win will also leave Spurs one point behind second-placed Manchester United because the Red Devils are not in action until they play at Crystal Palace on Monday.

Huddersfield, who have won their past two league games, are 14th in the table - three points above the relegation zone.

They could climb to 11th if they manage to win three successive top-flight games for the first time since 1956.

Next Wednesday's visit of Juventus in the Champions League is the hottest ticket in town.

Before that Spurs need to strengthen their place in the Premier League's top four by seeing off Huddersfield.
