Swansea have hardly ventured into the Huddersfield half, and a hopeful punt from Mike van der Hoorn towards Andre Ayew sails over the striker's head and goes behind for a free-kick.

Mooy wins another corner for the hosts - their fifth - and sends it over from the right, but Federico Fernandez nods it clear.

It's such a siege that even Andre Ayew is back for Swansea, smashing the ball downfield from the edge of his own box to end another Huddersfield attack.

The Terriers make nothing from the corner, but they quickly win the ball back and press again.

The man advantage has yet to translate into a real threat on the Swansea goal.

Alex Pritchard drives a shot on target, but Alfie Mawson deflects it away for a corner - although Fabianski had it covered, as he is telling his defender in no uncertain terms.

A nice reverse pass from Rajiv van La Parra finds Aaron Mooy. The Australian curls a ball over from the left of the box that hangs nicely towards the back post, but Lucasz Fabianski leaps to claim it.

I saw the challenge in real time and thought 'I'm not sure which way this is going to go'. I think they could have both been sent off.

If you are just joining us, Jordan Ayew was sent off for a challenge on Jonathan Hogg.

Van La Parra chips a cross in from the right, and Chris Schindler out-jumps the defence to send a header looping just wide of the post. Lucasz Fabianski had given that one up.

The Terriers have been camping out in Swansea's half since the sending off, but the only chance they have carved out ends when Rajiv van La Parra skews a shot badly off target when a cross or pass might have been the better option.

What a chance for the hosts, with 'only' 10 men against them. They are playing patiently, no signs yet of the gung-ho approach that they have tried at times at home this season.

Hogg has carried on after a bit of treatment, while Carlos Carvalhal has been reorganizing his side with Andre Ayew now leading the line alone.

Ayew's studs caught Hogg high up the left leg as the pair came together from opposite directions. Referee Michael Oliver had a bit of a think about it before showing a straight red to the Swansea player.
