  1. 'Chelsea showed spirit'published at 18:45 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2018

    Leicester 1-2 Chelsea

    Danny Murphy
Former England midfielder on BBC One

You have to give Chelsea credit. They have taken some stick recently after losing to Manchester United and Barcelona.

But they have showed some spirit today.

Scott: Not since the days of David Speedie has a wee man leapt so well for Chelsea! Great finish from Pedro.

Robbie: How has Pedro won a header in the box against the giant Leicester defence? Kasper was poor there...

  3. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 18:45 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2018

    Leicester City 1-2 Chelsea

All attacking hands on deck for Leicester.

On come Fousseni Diabate and Adrien Silva in place of Danny Simpson and Vicente Iborra.

  4. 'Wrong decision from Schmeichel'published at 18:44 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2018

    Leicester 1-2 Chelsea

    Petr Cech
Former Chelsea and current Arsenal goalkeeper on BBC One

Obviously it is the wrong decision. The ball looks like it is going high and would carry on but unfortunately for Kasper [Schmeichel] it slows down and he isn't able to get there.

By the time he realises it is too late.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15 mins ET

    Leicester City 1-2 Chelsea

    Oranges.

  6. 'Pedro was brave'published at 18:44 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2018

    Leicester 1-2 Chelsea

    Phil Brown
Swindon Town manager on BBC Radio 5 live

That has to go down as a goalkeeping mistake. A horrible ball in between the keeper and defender, but if the goalkeeper comes he has to take everything.

Pedro is what, five foot six, five foot seven? It was a teasing cross, and Pedro was brave but it was a goalkeeping error.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15 mins ET

    Leicester City 1-2 Chelsea

Olivier Giroud on for Alvaro Morata.

Hold the ball up and see the time out are presumably Antonio Conte's instructions.

  8. 'You have to get it'published at 18:42 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2018

    Leicester 1-2 Chelsea

    Danny Murphy
Former England midfielder on BBC One

It's come from nothing really. I'm not sure where Kasper Schmeichel is going. If you're coming out, you have to get it. But they are the kind of decisions you make late in this game. It's really easy for Pedro in the end.

  9. goal

GOAL - Leicester 1-2 Chelseapublished at 14 mins ET

    Pedro

Kasper Schmeichel comes for N'Golo Kante's cross but the Leicester goalkeeper has judged that all wrong.

Too much ground to cover and even if Chelsea win the header it would have to be a heck of effort to beat him from 15 yards.

Instead, with no-one at home, Pedro's nod trickles over the line for a potentially decisive goal.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 12 mins ET

    Leicester City 1-1 Chelsea

Andreas Christensen has got a twinge.

The young Dane heads off with Gary Cahill, sporting a new crop, coming on in his place in the Chelsea defence.

It is all business-like clippers at the back with more of a party on top.

    As is the fashion.

Tony: Chelsea's problem and has been all season is they've had plenty of chances to score. They got rid of a 20 a season proven goal scorer and haven't replaced him with one . Morata is nowhere near as good as Diego Costa.

  12. 'You can get punished'published at 18:37 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2018

    Leicester 1-1 Chelsea

    Danny Murphy
Former England midfielder on BBC One

It's those little moments. If you switch off for a second, you can get punished. Eden Hazard has been quiet but he still has that little bit of quality.

  13. Postpublished at 11 mins ET

    Leicester City 1-1 Chelsea

Eden Hazard darts and spurts past a couple of defenders on the left, but Pedro clumps his shot over the top from the Belgian's cut-back.

The best chance of extra time so far.

  14. 'Harder to walk up and take one'published at 18:35 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2018

    Leicester 1-1 Chelsea

    Danny Murphy
Former England midfielder on BBC One

Some goalkeepers excel with penalties and some don't. It depends on whether the Leicester players know of Willy Caballero's record - because if they do it makes it much harder walking up to take one.

  15. Postpublished at 8 mins ET

    Leicester City 1-1 Chelsea

Willy Caballero has apparently saved five of the last eight penalties he has faced in normal time.

He was also the man who helped Manchester City to a shoot-out victory over Liverpool in the League Cup final of 2016.

    That is some record.

If it goes to penalties, advantage Chelsea?

  16. Nou Camp or Marbella?published at 18:31 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2018

    Leicester City 1-1 Chelsea

    Danny Murphy
Former England midfielder on BBC One

There are different ways of looking at the contrasting weeks for the two clubs. Of course it can work both ways, but ultimately the quality should shine through because both sets of players are tired. Tiredness causes bad decision-making.

Ed: All cup games should go to extra time and pens, bin off all replays, much more exciting (when your team isn’t involved).

  18. Postpublished at 5 mins ET

    Leicester City 1-1 Chelsea

What is better preparation for going deep into a hectic FA Cup tie?

Chelsea were given the run-around by Barcelona at the Nou Camp in mid-week.

Leicester have spent a week warm-weather training in Marbella.

    Let's find out.
