  • Leicester's 4-1 victory at West Brom ended a run of five winless away league matches

  1. Postpublished at 29 mins

    Brighton 0-0 Leicester

Jurgen Locadia is flagged offside - just - while trying to get to a neat pass from Pascal Gross.

The Dutchman, Brighton's record signing at around £14m, has had a decent first league start so far.

  2. Postpublished at 26 mins

    Brighton 0-0 Leicester

Pascal Gross and Jose Izquierdo play a nice one-two to give the latter a sniff of a chance in the Leicester box, but Danny Simpson's well-timed tackle clears the danger.

That was a welcome injection of pace into a slow-slow-quick-slow game.

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 24 mins

    Brighton 0-0 Leicester

Wilfred Ndidi stops Baram Kayal in his tracks with an ultra-late lunge and unsurprisingly he goes into referee Kavanagh's book.

    Brighton 0-0 Leicester

Kapser Schmeichel has to stretch to a back pass across the box to clear, with Glenn Murray converging on the ball at the same time.

  10. Postpublished at 10 mins

    Brighton 0-0 Leicester

Pascal Gross chips a free kick from the right touchline into the box, but it misses the targets of Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy completely - a surprisingly poor delivery from the Brighton playmaker.

  11. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Brighton 0-0 Leicester

Jurgen Locadia stretches his legs for the first time, getting to a long ball over the top of the Leicester back four but his volley while off balance skews a long way high and wide of the left hand post.

  12. Postpublished at 4 mins

    Brighton 0-0 Leicester

Shinji Okazaki shoulder barges into Ezequiel Schelotto, to give away another free kick - there's not a lot of flow to this one yet.

  13. Postpublished at 2 mins

    Brighton 0-0 Leicester

Locadia concedes a free kick near to where he was fouled, clipping Harry Maguire but Leicester's long ball free kick upfield floats unthreateningly up to Mat Ryan.

There's an early foul on Jurgen Locadia, making his first Premier League start for Brighton. Lewis Dunk punts the free kick into the box from halfway but Leicester clear the danger.

This is Brighton's 100th home top-flight match and, while they'll only whisper it quietly in the corridors of the Amex, three more points this weekend would go a long way to ensuring that tally increases.

Only Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea have won on the south coast this season. It's the best home record of the three promoted clubs and those foundations should ultimately bear fruit in May.

For Leicester, their exit from the FA Cup means it's all about a strong finish in the league. Claude Puel finished eighth in his first season in England with Southampton, and seventh may well take the Foxes back to Europe.

    Brighton v Leicester (15:00 BST)

It really feels like an age since we last talked about the Premier League – in fact, it’s three whole weeks since both these sides last saw league action. Since then, both have exited the FA Cup and can properly invoke the “concentrating on the league” cliché.
