Rishi: Allegri got it wrong for us tonight. Sandro/Asamoah not worked as we were industrious without much creativity down the left. Then missed a trick by not introducing Cuadrado earlier on the right and switching Costa to the left to keep Real Madrid on their toes.

Cristiano Ronaldo's second goal was an overhead kick of ridiculous quality.

Brilliant goal, another assist for Ronaldo.

The clip over the keeper is brilliant and sums up Real Madrid. Probably the best two players on the pitch have scored the goals and one of them is a left-back.

It has stunned the whole stadium, but Real have showed over the past two years they are better than Juventus.

    Marcelo (72 mins)

Real Madrid are putting on a clinic here. Zinedine Zidane is not bad at this Champions League lark.

Marcelo plays a one-two and charges into the area, the ball is bouncing around but he nudges it past Gigi Buffon and then bundles it in from a yard out.

The second leg is going to be a dead rubber at this rate.

Cristiano Ronaldo must have been eight foot off the ground when he struck that overhead kick. It's as good as any I've ever seen. You can forget Wayne Rooney's shinner...

    Thiago Alcantara

That might be another own goal. Bayern had just gone close and now they do take a stranglehold on the tie, Franck Ribery is creator again, another number seven who doesn't dance to the tune of old father time.

His cross is excellent, Thiago is free at the far post to head down and in, via a sizable deflection off Sergio Escudero.

This is spine-tingling. Ronaldo was booed in the first half, but he has just scored a goal of world class quality. And everyone around us, the Juventus fans are applauding that goal. It was stunning, not sure I've seen many better of that variety.

A very bad few minutes for Juve...

Paulo Dybala is clapped off but I don't know why, he's had a petulant game and that's plain stupid - on a booking, he goes in high and late and he's off.

    Cristiano Ronaldo (64 mins)

Genuine applause! Applause inside the stadium for an away goal, and spontaneous applause away to my right by someone in the BBC Sport office too.

That is a moment of genius from Cristiano Ronaldo! Juve get in a muddle at the back but take nothing away from this, a cross is clipped in and Ronaldo throws himself into an acrobatic overhead kick right into the corner.

    That is stunning. Sensational.
