John McEnerney: Sergio Ramos back to marshal the back four which were bullied by Juventus. No chance of that happening tonight, some players playing for their future. Perez will clean house in the summer even if they win the Champions League.

Real Madrid's 'BBC' frontline is just the 'B' tonight

Real Madrid have won each of their last seven league games without Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, scoring 26 goals in total.

Although I suspect that's because Ronaldo is often rested for the 'easier' games. He has scored 21 goals in his last 11 games so I'm sure he'll be missed...

  6. How do Roma follow that up?published at 19:40 British Summer Time 15 April 2018

    Lazio v Roma (19:45 BST)

Roma could hardly come into this game in better spirits - after Tuesday's famous Champions League comeback against Barcelona. Having lost the first leg 4-1, they beat the Catalans 3-0 at the Stadio Olimpico to go through to the semi-finals.

"We reached perfection," midfielder Radja Nainggolan said afterwards.

We will also let you know what's happening in the Rome derby. Roma, of course, are up against Liverpool in the Champions League semi-finals.

Today could go towards deciding who qualifies for next season's tournament. Lazio (third), Roma (fourth) and Inter Milan (fifth) are all level on 60 points.

  8. Team newspublished at 19:34 British Summer Time 15 April 2018

Malaga v Real Madrid (19:45 BST)

Real Madrid, with little to play for in La Liga, have left Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Luka Modric and Raphael Varane out of their squad entirely. Marcelo and Toni Kroos are on the bench.

But the team they have named is still full of quality - Marco Asensio, Isco, Karim Benzema, Sergio Ramos etc.

Malaga - 14 points adrift of safety with seven games left - are without suspended defender Luis Hernandez. Striker Brown Ideye used to play for Premier League kingmakers West Brom.

  9. Zidane 'angry' at 'robbery' commentspublished at 19:32 British Summer Time 15 April 2018

Malaga v Real Madrid (19:45 BST)

Juventus' legendary keeper Gianluigi Buffon was sent off against Real for protesting that penalty decision - and was highly critical of the referee afterwards.

"There are people out there talking about it being a robbery... I'm angry with that," said Zidane as most of his pre-Malaga news conference was dominated by that moment.

Of today's game, he said: "We put in a massive effort in the Champions League, but we're ready for the Malaga game.

"Malaga are bottom of the league, although they don't deserve to be. When you watch their games, it's surprising that they're in the position they are."

Real Madrid will be hoping for a much less emotionally draining day than they had on Wednesday.

In case you've been out of phone and wifi signal all week... The European champions blew a 3-0 first-leg lead to trail by the same score to Juventus - until Cristiano Ronaldo's hotly disputed penalty deep into injury time sent them into the Champions League semi-finals.

Today, they visit La Liga's bottom side, almost certainly doomed Malaga.
