  • Barca were two games from unbeaten La Liga season

  • Messi rested, Iniesta plays penultimate game

  • Juventus wrap up Serie A title

  • They needed point at Roma - or for Napoli to not beat Sampdoria

  1. Juventus set to win title againpublished at 19:37 British Summer Time 13 May 2018

    Roma v Juventus (19:45 BST)

Juventus just need one point away to Roma to clinch a SEVENTH consecutive Serie A title.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri is on the brink of winning the Italian double in each of his four seasons in charge, having beaten AC Milan 4-0 in the Coppa Italia final on Wednesday.

Even if they lose today, they will clinch the title if Napoli do not beat Sampdoria.

To be honest if Juventus lose and Napoli win, it would still require a suspicious goal difference swing next weekend for Juve to be caught.

  2. Can Barca finish season unbeaten?published at 19:34 British Summer Time 13 May 2018

    Levante v Barcelona (19:45 BST)

Spanish double winners Barcelona are 180 minutes away from a historic achievement.

No team in the 20-team 38-game La Liga era have ever gone an entire league season without defeat.

They are unbeaten for a record 43 La Liga games stretching back over a year to before Ernesto Valverde took over.

Two teams have gone a La Liga season unbeaten, both in the days when there were 18 games in a season, and none since the 1930s.
