What of England's chances on Wednesday night then? Can they get past Croatia and book their place in the final?
Hhmm, unlikely Steve. But if England make it through to the final, I'm sure work would understand!
What do you think Ben? Any chance of me getting back for a 6am start at work on Thursday morning?
At first look it appears there's not a chance!
Some pertinent news here for England fans hoping to get their hands on tickets for the World Cup semi-final against Croatia on Wednesday.

Peter Bickerton: I was in a bar in Monopoli, Puglia, embarrassing my Italian girlfriend as I jumped through the roof and nearly fainted as Dele Alli scored the second.
John Davies: In Rhodes trying to convince wife to change flight back so we don't miss the game. Costing £300.

England have shown a consistency in performances. They're very focused and straight. Maybe people say predictable, but in order to get to the World Cup final, or semi-finals, you need to stay on track and stick to your plan.
The England side stick to the plan Gareth Southgate has outlined to them. Their energy seems very balanced, not too much but not too little, and they try to reach the highest level of their capabilities.
They all seem to be peaking at the right time and timing in a tournament like this is crucial. If it was played one month or two months later you could have a different winner.

More from David Seaman, this time on his former England team-mate Gareth Southgate:
"You never thought Gareth would go on to do what he’s doing now. He was always aware of tactics, formations and all that sort of stuff but it’s a long journey from there. He’s been through managing a club side and the Under-21s to be doing what he’s doing now, and in the style he is doing it, is brilliant.
"You’d look at people like Tony Adams, Paul Ince and maybe Alan Shearer, those three would’ve been top of your list, and maybe not Gareth. It just shows there are different ways of becoming a manager."
For the avoidance of doubt, this is what Mr Seaman is talking about....

England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford was in impressive form yesterday wasn't he?
And David Seaman who knows a thing or two about being between the sticks, after 75 caps for England in that position, has been chatting to BBC Radio 5 live this morning about him.
"People were having a go about how tall he is and my first answer was, 'hang on a minute, our record capped goalkeeper was only a similar size to Jordan, if not smaller, in Peter Shilton'.
"Some of the criticism he got for the goal where he went with the top hand was a bit unjust. I thought it was questionable but that was about it. But boy has he replied in the right way!"
Who said Alan Shearer was boring?!
At France 98, the England players had a bet to see who could mention the most song titles in their post-match interviews.
Alan Shearer's contribution after winning the opening game against Tunisia was something like 'it's a good start, but we're not exactly dancing on the ceiling'. Another Lionel Richie classic!
Wow, BBC pundit Alan Shearer is a bigger Lionel Richie fan I realised. He's got those lyrics DOWN!!

Matt Bennett: We were at a wedding watching the game on the smallest of screens our phones propped up against wine bottles. The reverend was saying grace and I had to stifle a groan for the five minutes of extra time. So happy for this England team, go on England!!
Jason Flintham: I was watching from a hotel in Italy. No mad celebrations as most other guests are either Italian or German but a couple of quiet proseccos did the trick.
Hats off to Sweden. Good to see they weren't sore losers...

It’s a special moment for English football. I think Gareth Southgate has managed it to a point where there's hope but not the expectation. That's the right way to approach it, to take it one day at a time.
He gives the players confidence, he calms them down and gives them a visual picture that tells them what the next obstacle is.
It's wonderful to see how the entire nation is getting behind the Three Lions, now just enjoy the full week.

Raheem Sterling's pace is always a threat. I was watching part of the game yesterday and it looked as though all the team were trying really hard to get him a goal.
When you look at that dynamic, I still think there’s a moment to come for Raheem Sterling in this tournament. A big positive moment. I would play him out wide in the next game, try and get him out in the wing area and get him to hammer down that line because his pace is stunning and then you might see the best out of him.

This team came to the tournament and we said, ‘if they got to the quarter-finals, that would be a major achievement’. I don’t think anybody believed they’d get so far. You can say the draw has been kind, which it has, you can’t get away from that. We had one hard game against Belgium and they beat us.
Gareth Southgate deserves a lot of credit. He’s been fresh, worked well with the media, got the players on his side, they look like a family, the ambiance must be great, they are playing for each other and Gareth is a modern-day coach, you can see that.
I can imagine him sitting down and chatting to players about any subject. That helps a massive amount.
We hadn't forgotten about you Arron. You might be onto something, saying the Gareth Southgate lookalike looks more like Allan Rickman's Hans Gruber from Die Hard. Here he is...
