Ben, Cambs: Tunisia look like they can attack on the break quite quickly but maybe lack quality finishing. Hard to say how good their defence is, this Spanish team's passing could drag anyone out of position.

    France 0-0 USA

Paul Pogba is clattered by Antonee Robinson after about eight seconds, rolls about for a few seconds and then gets up.

    France 0-0 USA

    Finally! Under way in Lyon.

France v USA (20:00 BST... or whenever they fancy it)

Shambles in France as kick-off is already eight minutes delayed and now somebody is doing a ceremonial kick-off. Get on with it.

    Tunisia 0-0 Spain

Close to an opener for Spain as Sergio Ramos smashes one over from 30 yards. Ambitious from the ever popular defender.

    Tunisia 0-0 Spain

Some nice play by David Silva but then his reverse cross (is that a thing?) is headed away. Now Jordi Alba's cross is held by Tunisia's keeper.

    Tunisia 0-0 Spain

Spain have been very sloppy in possession so far. They again lose the ball and Naim Sliti's shot from Anice Badri's cross is over the bar.

    Tunisia 0-0 Spain

England won't be too happy with what they've seen - Tunisia are playing quite well. Naim Sliti almost slips a ball through to Fakhreddine Ben Youssef but it's just too far for the striker.

  10. Postpublished at 20:01 British Summer Time 9 June 2018

    Tunisia 0-0 Spain

Rodrigo has the ball down the left and inexplicably Tunisia keeper Aymen Mathlouthi is almost on top of him - but the Spain striker can't get a shot away to lob him.

    Tunisia 0-0 Spain

All of a sudden Tunisia are on top and Anice Badri's cross is just too far for Fakhreddine Ben Youssef at the back post.

    Tunisia 0-0 Spain

Tunisia have the first chance of the game. It's a shocking pass by Thiago to gift England's first World Cup opponents the ball but Ferjani Sassi's 18-yard shot is low and weak - and easily saved by David de Gea.

    Tunisia 0-0 Spain

Some great skills by Andres Iniesta just in front of his defenders to lose a marker. Now Rodrigo almost plays Isco in on goal but the Tunisian keeper is off his line well.

    Tunisia 0-0 Spain

Almost a chance for Spain but Tunisia manage to clear a cross. The former world champions are starting to put a good spell of possession together. It ends with Alvaro Odriozola expecting a corner but not getting one.

    Tunisia 0-0 Spain

Oooh, Andres Iniesta plays a magnificent through ball to Rodrigo, who is brought down by Fakhreddine Ben Youssef.

The Spain striker would have been in there - if this was a competitive game he'd have been getting at least booked there. But he escapes with no punishment.

A slow start to this game in Russia, no chances at either end yet.

It's half-time in a friendly between Denmark and Mexico, both of whom are preparing for the World Cup. That's 0-0.

    France v USA (20:00 BST)

Les Bleus will play in Lyon (two different stadiums) for the 10th time, losing only once in the process (W6, D2).

I saw one of those wins - against the Republic of Ireland in Euro 2016. *weeps uncontrollably*
