Brentford opened up with a 5-1 win at home to Rotherham and then drew at Stoke in their second Championship game.

However, boss Dean Smith thinks the rest of the league should be well aware of the threat his team pose this season.

"I don't think we will surprise as many people now as we have been in the league four years and finished in the top 10 all four year," he told BBC Radio London.

"We may have surprised the Stoke public but we need to make sure we are consistent in what we do and are not complacent.

"Financial Fair Play has caught up with Sheffield Wednesday and they have been unable to bring players in but they have a strong squad anyway.

"They have a relatively new manager in Jos Luhukay but a lot of stuff he has put into the team is coming out now. They play some good football and you can see patterns in their play."

League One: Sunderland v Scunthorpe (15:0 BST)

Sunderland are looking to extend their unbeaten start to the League One season at home to Scunthorpe.

The Black Cats, who have suffered back-to-back relegations, won on the opening day against Charlton, and then drew at Luton last Saturday.

The Iron have also taken four points from their first two games, beating Coventry and then drawing at Walsall.

Will one unbeaten record go up in smoke today?

We'll have updates from the key action from the Stadium of Light.

It's not been a brilliant start to the season for Sheffield Wednesday.

The club were under a transfer embargo which was only lifted this week, and they are yet to win in their two Championship games so far.

Thursday's EFL Cup win against Sunderland did improve the mood somewhat around Hillsborough - a welcome boost to manager Jos Luhukay.

Fernando Forestieri has scored in each of his two games so far but a groin injury while big striker Atdhe Nuhiu is back after scoring and being sent off on the opening day.

London was not that much of a happy hunting ground for the Owls last season, as they lost three games in the capital against Brentford, Millwall and QPR.

However, Wednesday did win at promoted Fulham last August courtesy of Steven Fletcher's second-half strike.

Pretty good for Brentford as it happens.

The Bees have buzzed into life with four points from six in the Championship and progressed to the EFL Cup second-round despite making 11 changes against Southend in midweek.

Despite losing captain John Egan and winger Florian Jozefzoon during the transfer window, some smart signings and the retention of playmaker Ryan Woods have softened the blow.

Dean Smith's side have scored six goals, with just two in reply in their two opening league games. The build-up for Ollie Watkins equaliser against Stoke was as sensational as any you'll see.
