But this one might need a bit more action to avoid being towards the end of tonight's show.

The south coast side look a little disorganized from set-pieces, which was a feature of the 2017-18 season as well.

In fact, only Watford (24) conceded more than the 22 goals that Brighton let in from set piece situations last term.

You'd say the better chances have fallen to Watford so far in this one, but it's fairly even on the whole - and the possession stats reflect that...

...and that is that for Bruno's contribution.

Brighton will hope it's not a serious injury as their captain hobbles off in place of Gaetan Bong. Debutant Bernardo appears to have switched to right back as a result

Davy Propper upends Will Hughes to give Watford a free-kick in a promising position.

Jose Holebas sees his effort from 20 yards go behind for a corner after striking the wall.

Two great chances at either end in less than a minute.

First, Davy Propper swings in a teasing cross that finds Glenn Murray in space... only for the ball to skim off the top of his head and wide of Ben Foster's left hand post.

Then Watford see Mat Ryan palm away an effort from Andre Gray, which is the first shot on target.

Brighton's first foray forward sees Solly March win a corner ball.
