  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:46

    Fulham 0-1 Bournemouth

That's our lot for the first-half at Craven Cottage.

An odd 45 minutes in some ways. Fulham have had their chances, but don't look any less vulnerable at the back than they have at other times in recent weeks.

The quality has come from the visitors, who are on their way to closing the gap on the top five as it stands.

  3. Postpublished at 45 mins +1

    Fulham 0-1 Bournemouth

Late corner for Fulham in this half, which Bournemouth put behind for another.

Jean Michael Seri tries again, with Aboubakar Kamara flahsing a header wide of the Bournemouth goal.

  4. INJURY TIMEpublished at 45 mins

    Fulham 0-1 Bournemouth

We'll have one added minute at Craven Cottage.

  5. Postpublished at 42 mins

    Fulham 0-1 Bournemouth

Bournemouth win a free kick in an advanced position, as Tim Ream fouls goalscorer Callum Wilson, but it comes to nothing.

The Cherries are seeing much more of the ball again now though.

  6. Postpublished at 39 mins

    Fulham 0-1 Bournemouth

A brief moment of excitement as Asmir Begovic collects the ball VERY close to the edge of his 18 yard box. The home fans appeal for handball, but replays show Begovic touched the ball dead on the line.

  7. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Fulham 0-1 Bournemouth

The home side are enjoying a better time of things, winning another corner.

Jean Michael Seri takes it, and Denis Odoi loses his marker to head it cleanly, but it's wide of Asmir Begovic's left hand post.

  8. Postpublished at 34 mins

    Fulham 0-1 Bournemouth

Fulham take a short corner, with Andre Schurrle picked out in space... but when the 2014 World Cup winner takes his shot it sails high over the crossbar, an effort which Bournemouth fans meet with a customary and mocking 'Wa-heeeey'...

  9. Postpublished at 33 mins

    Fulham 0-1 Bournemouth

Fulham are a capable looking side going forward, but there is such nervousness in the air at Craven Cottage when Bournemouth run at the home defence.

Another cross into the box is too close to Sergio Rico, who claims easily.

  10. Postpublished at 28 mins

    Fulham 0-1 Bournemouth

Callum Wilson will be disappointed to have not scored again, there.

Charlie Daniels again the man to swing in a dangerous cross, but Wilson's header goes over.

  11. Postpublished at 26 mins

    Fulham 0-1 Bournemouth

In the main, Bournemouth have dominated so far at Craven Cottage.

Just the one goal to show for their efforts so far, though... and Fulham do carry a threat as we've seen already through Aboubakar Kamara and Andre Schurrle.

  12. 'Fulham look poor defensively'published at 15:25 British Summer Time 27 October 2018

    Fulham 0-1 Bournemouth

    Sue Smith
Former England forward on Final Score

I admire Fulham's free-flowing attacking game but they concede too many goals.

It worked in the Championship but in the Premier League, it's a risk and they've been found out.

They keep changing the team and the defence and that's not going to help - they've got a different goalkeeper today. As a team, defensively, they look poor.

  13. CLOSE!published at 22 mins

    Fulham 0-1 Bournemouth

Andre Schurrle stings the palms of Asmir Begovic with a fierce shot from just outside the box, after good work by Kevin McDonald.

That's lifted the home crowd a little.

  14. YELLOW CARD - Aboubakar Kamarapublished at 17 mins

    Fulham 0-1 Bournemouth

    Oh dear, Aboubakar Kamara.

Asmir Begovic takes a heavy touch which Frenchman Kamara pounces on... before opting to dive as Begovic attempts to close him down - there's no contact whatsoever.

Andre Marriner gets it right and produces a yellow card for simulation.

GOAL - Callum Wilsonpublished at 14 mins

    Fulham 0-1 Bournemouth

Not the start that Fulham needed.

Callum Wilson picks up possession inside Fulham's 18 yard box, before he's clumsily fouled by Timothy Fosu-Mensah. There are next to no appeals from the home side about the decision.

Wilson takes the spot kick and makes no mistake stroking the ball down the middle, with Sergio Rico diving to his left.

  16. PENALTYpublished at 13 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Bournemouth

    Penalty to Bournemouth!

  17. Postpublished at 10 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Bournemouth

Sergio Rico is starting his first Premier League game for Fulham today, and he's just had his gloves warmed by a routine save from a Ryan Fraser shot after good work from David Brooks in the build-up.

  18. Postpublished at 8 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Bournemouth

Fulham have settled into the game a bit now, but it's been a very open start to proceedings at Craven Cottage. End-to-end stuff.

  19. Fulham's defensive woe...published at 15:07

    Fulham 0-0 Bournemouth

    Fulham

It's not hard to pinpoint Fulham's issues so far this season...

    FulhamImage source, Reuters
    • Fulham have conceded six more Premier League goals than any other team this season (25) – the highest total at this stage of an English top-flight campaign since Southampton in 2012-13 (26).
    • Fulham have afforded their opponents more shots on target than any other Premier League team in 2018-19 (61).
    • Fulham are the fourth team in Premier League history to concede at least two goals in eight of their first nine Premier League games to a season (also Everton in 94-95, Derby in 00-01, Southampton in 12-13).
  20. CLOSE!published at 4 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Bournemouth

I'm not sure how much he knew about it, but Aboubakar Kamara almost has a goal for Fulham!

It's a nice ball over the top from his team-mate Jean Michael Seri to find the Frenchman in the box, but he nods it onto the top of Asmir Begovic's net.
